This was our mistake as we were in a panic redoing our 50th anniversary after our Kauai lodging was ruined by the hurricane. The view and location sold us and we failed to look closely at the dated furnishings and appliances. The electrical issues in the kitchen with a makeshift extension cord was a real negative. The stained tub,dirty slider to the lanai and dirty lampshades just not acceptable.I appreciate the host checking in with us but as important as this trip was to us we just took our lumps and moved to another unit in the same building leaving the condo empty for five nights.

This review is a total Mystery! I contacted the guest as shown below: HOSTt: Just checking to make sure you are having a good time and that the condo is working out well for you. We want you to be “happy campers,” so please let us know if something is not right or if you need anything. GUEST: Mahalo HOST: Any issues? Having fun? GiUEST: The view is spectacular. We have been swimming in the ocean every day. HOST: Mahalo nui loa. Please do not hesitate to let me know about any concerns —- There was NO further communication (not a word) and no mention of any complaints/concerns or that they had left the condo 5 days early, We did not find this out until they left a 2-star review which we saw on 10/18/26 for a reservation a month earlier—9/14-21/26. Had we known of the guest’s concerns/complaints during their stay, we would have gone immediately and taken care of everything. In addition, had we known the guests had left the condo 5 days early, there is a very good chance we could have re-rented the condo and refunded the guest for partial stay. A 2-star review in this case is very unfair.

Great views, well stocked, clean and met our needs perfectly. Mitch and Pat are very attentive owners. Mitch met us as we checked in and showed us the condo himself. Having beach chairs and towels was a plus.

I found no other condo on the island that was exactly on the beach. With the ocean direct view you could not get any closer than this. I've checked many locations once we got there to verify that I had made the right choice and oh yes we made the right choice. We saw little seals on the beach there were fish and turtles for snorkeling it's far out of town which makes it a lot more quiet. Which is great if you're not into all that commercialism.

Great place with amazing views

Got to see turtles, whales and surfers from lanai. Beach is amazing. Grounds are well kept.

Beautiful location

The property was very nice and well maintained. The condo was exactly as mentioned and was clean and had everything we needed. We saw beautiful sunsets! Owners were available when we had questions. Highly recommend!

The location and beach were the best. The condo was great and exactly as advertised. The owners were very helpful and responsive. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider this property for future visits to Oahu.

Clean and well stocked kitchen with washer and dryer which is always a bonus. Nice ocean view…..even saw turtles. Bedroom AC might be a bit distracting if used to central air but we were fine with it. Owners were responsive to communication. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Very nice condo stay

My family and I really enjoy our 6 days stay at this beach front condo with absolutely beautiful sunset. Mitch was very helpful in welcoming when we first arrived. He showed us the condo and everything that we needed. We will definitely be back next year.

Condo in paradise

We had a blast in the Hawaï princess condo! The view is simply even better than in the photos (which I didn’t think could be possible)! You end the day with the best view possible of the sun going down! Thanks a lot for our perfect stay!

Affordable Beachfront in Makaha

The building was nice and right on the beach. We wanted to see the west side of Oahu and it was very different than other parts of the island. Only complaint / concern was high number of homeless in the area,

Unfortunately, there are many homeless all over the island including Honolulu. Although we have tried, there is nothing we can do about it, and it seems unfair to downgrade us for something over which we have no control.

Beauty in Paradise

The condo is located in a part of Oahu where the locals mostly inhabit. It is near beautiful beaches and mountains, but there are plenty of homeless folks around. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. The place itself was nice; right on the water with a great oceanfront view. Don was very easy to work with.

There are homeless all over the island. We have VERY MANY repeat guests year after year who LOVE our beautiful spot in paradise! BEACH IS AWESOME!

Perfect place to stay ❤️

This property does not disappoint! It was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The view and sounds of the ocean are amazing. The condo is cute and clean. There are beach towels, beach chairs, and water toys available. Plenty of dishes for whatever you need. The Maxwells were great to work with. Book your stay today!

BEST vacation(s) ever!

We have had the opportunity to stay at this owner's condos in Makaha on 4 different occasions. The condo units are kept very clean and well maintained. The hosts were able to respond very quickly to any questions that we had and went above and beyond a few times to make our stay as comfortable as possible. My husband and I would not hesitate in any way to recommend the hosts or their sites as a very reputable and friendly vacation experience. We look forward to going again very soon.

Awesome location!

Somewhat dated but comfortable. The entryway to the units looks like something else use to be there. Perhaps they are in transition. All in all we really enjoyed ourselves!

There are notices throughout the building that the entryway corridors are being updated with new and better coverings so naturally there is active renovation.
