Beautiful property, amazing views, great snorkeling off the beach. A great place where it's very easy to be all together but still be able to detach from the frey if wanted. Well designed, well furnished, and Sherry the host made everything easy for us. Thank You

Our stay was just spectacular the house was amazing and spacious. We all had our own space and the house was fully stocked of the necessary necessities. We truly appreciate all we had and it made our stay a million times better. The views and beaches are another level of stunning. Thanks so much we plan to be back!

Beautiful location near Tippys

Beautiful location… great beach and home. There is a reef you can snorkel right off the beach from this property. This is on the sunrise side of the island, we enjoyed walks every morning. Overall a great choice in Governor’s Harbor.

Spring break with family and friends

The house was beautiful with perfect location on the beach and close to town and several great restaurants. The beach was very quiet and it felt like a private beach. Stunning views. The house fit us all comfortably and the outdoor space was amazing with some shade, some sun and lots of places to hang out. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great week!

Sandy Hill Eleuthera Review

Our stay on Eleuthera at Sandy Hill was great. The description of the villa is accurate. The amenities made it easy to enjoy meals at home in Sandy Hill, and the location made it easy to get to Governors Harbour (nearest town) for dinners, groceries … The Sandy Hill property has a world class beach good for snorkeling and walks. The pool area is set up for easy access. Pam was proactive keeping in touch with us before, during, and after the trip. Sherry is the on island property manager. She gave us great advice on where to eat, find fresh fish and any other things we needed. Overall Sandy Hill is an exceptional, well-managed property on a beautiful island. We'd gladly return to rent it again.

True Paradise

Incredible Beach house with everything you could need! Views from every room in the house. Great layout for our family of 7. Lots of comfortable seating inside and out. All of the kitchen gadgets you could need. Large amount of the following supplies toilet paper, trash bags, laundry detergent, spices, etc. Plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, life jackets, snorkel gear, and pool floats/toys! Glad to have a washer/dryer for laundry. The highlight for the family was going back and forth from the beach to the pool. The house felt secluded and private surrounded by the lush landscaping. Matt was quick to respond to emails when booking the house and Sherry checked on us multiple times throughout our stay. It was true paradise!

The house, with its separated sleeping areas, worked well for our multi generational family. The location was excellent, quiet but with easy access to town and Tippy’s. Having the pool meant that even on windy days the kids could play and swim. We plan on coming back.

Beautiful location and house

Very nice house, beach, pool, views. The only thing I’d add is bring your own music as there’s no way to have it outside on the deck or pool area. The house has a lot of things ( individual AC units, lots of fans ) that aren’t easy to figure out, it would be nice if the housekeeper went through it with us to save time and frustration. Owner and manager are very nice.

The beaches are spectacular and we liked the casual, friendly atmosphere of the island. Sandy Hill, nestled in the palm trees overlooking the beach, offers beautiful vistas. The outdoor living and dining spaces are wonderful. Conch fritters at Tippy's on the beach were delicious.

Wonderful Experience

The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our family of 12. It is in the perfect location over looking the ocean with a soft pale pink sand beach just down the steps. We were near to many restaurants in Governor's Harbor, but the house also had everything we needed to make our own meals. What really put our stay over the top was the wonderful care taker of the house Sherri. She not only made us a fantastic seafood dinner, but she was prompt with helping us with recommendations for the island. She even helped me learn more about my family from the island. This made our stay exceptional. I highly recommend staying here, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The beach is down a bit of a hill and stairs which may challenge some but the pool is great too. Sherry coordinated transportation and cooked us a wonderful meal one night. Denise was also responsive. Tippy’s just down the road is a good option for meals.Our group of 8 really enjoyed riding side-by-sides to see the lighthouse; good, fun time.

We knew this would be a nice place, but we were in awe of how truly incredible it was. What a treat to stay at such a beautiful home, on the most exquisite beach. The sand, water, and views were perfection. The home was well equipped and beautifully furnished. We stayed further north during our first week, but much preferred this location. The only thing that took away from our enjoyment were the bugs & bites on this island - if we can find a remedy for that we will be back as often as possible. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! The noseeums can be pesky if you are allergic to them, but you can avoid them. If they are present at all, they will come out at dusk and in the evening, so they won’t be a problem during the day. Mosquito repellant often works. Another popular solution is baby oil. The little bugs can’t bite through a layer of oil. Worse case, you always wear a pair of long pants and socks, because they go after legs and ankles. The evenings are usually comfortable, so you can wear long pants outside if necessary. The bite of a noseeum is not very bothersome, but don't make the mistake of ignoring them if you are allergic to them. As soon as you feel the first little bite, put on your long pants, or your baby oil, or go inside. Otherwise, if you are allergic to their bites, you will wake up a day or two later with many itchy bumps on your legs.

Sandy Hill rocks!

Sandy Hill is a perfect house for large families and groups. The house is wonderfully designed with separate pods of bedrooms and bathrooms, in addition to a large master bedroom en suite upstairs. And every bedroom has a spectacular view of the ocean, which makes every sunrise worth waking up to experience. The salt water infinity pool is incredible and the private beach is only steps away from the house, so kayaking and snorkeling can be done directly off the beach depending on the wind and waves each day. The small town of Governor’s Harbor is only a short car drive away, but critical for dining and grocery options. The Leon Levy Preserve is well worth the price of admission, just be sure to have appropriate shoes for the hike. Many of the island’s major attractions are a long car drive from Sandy Hill’s central island location. It’s well worth the trip to visit the Sapphire Blue Hole, the Glass Window, and the Queen’s bath. Overall, Sandy Hill exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it for travelers looking for a relaxing vacation with a heavenly view!

The ocean water was clear, warm and the most amazing color of turquoise blue! The sandy beach was the best on the island! The infinity pool was perfect. The house was beautifully designed and all rooms had great ocean views. Both Matt, and the owner, Denise, provided great tips, information, and time answering questions. It was such a great help. We had a fantastic family vacation and would highly recommend Eleuthera Vacation Rentals, and if you can stay at Sandy Hill Beach house you will not be disappointed--it was paradise!
