This was our third time overall staying here. The host was friendly and we loved the fireplace and just the coziness of the cabin. We enjoyed looking out the windows and seeing the deer and turkeys and all the other wildlife. And we loved the fact that it’s pet friendly. Excellent host and great cabin!

Quiet escape

It was a nice, quiet mini vacation for us. We loved the lake and the area. Definitely will be back sometime.

The cabin is very nice and a great lay out. Kitchen was really nice with lots of counter space. Wish there was some comfy porch furniture though. Owner very responsive and webwould stay with them again.

Perfect weekend getaway

This was the perfect cabin for my husband and daughter for a long weekend. The house was super clean, spacious, and kid friendly.

Upon arrival we found mouse droppings throughout most of the kitchen drawers with chewed up paper towels. The home was very dusty and there was dog hair under couches, stairs, and around fire place. The home had lots of space and beautiful surroundings. With a deep clean and routine maintenance it would be a great place. Communication from host was good but we weren’t satisfied with how they handled our concerns.

Thank you for your feedback. Upon arrival, the guest contacted us with photos of mouse droppings in kitchen drawers. We responded immediately, apologized, and discussed options. At that time, the guest indicated she was comfortable continuing her stay and had disposable utensils available. The guest later chose to depart one day early and requested a refund, which was reviewed in accordance with our policies. We take cleanliness seriously, respond promptly to concerns, and will continue addressing maintenance to ensure a positive experience for future guests. We appreciate the kind comments about the space and surroundings.

Fantastic!

Beautiful location! Sorta close to grocery & gas. Resort may have food store. Didn’t check. Looks fantastic inside. Paneling design great. Plenty of room for family or separate space. Great front porch. Great covered deck with table in back.

Cozy cabin was very nice. We loved the lay out and would definitely go back.We do have some feedback and it's only because We feel this unit has so much potential to be so great...The furnace was slow to get going....It took all night on first night for heater to really start working. We turn the furnace on when we arrived at 4:30 and it really didn't get warm until the middle of the night. Overall cleanliness was lacking. Cobb webs on windows and on ceiling and all over front and back porches.. Both toilets had rings in them (upstairs and main floor). While the inside was great, parts of the exterior (aesthetically) was in rough shape, but this place has sooo much potential.The one thing I would also suggest is upgrading the tvs in the bedrooms and the upstairs loft. They were the smallest TVs I've ever seen. TVs are very inexpensive these days and that's an easy and inexpensive amentiy upgrade. The remote for the tv in the main bedroom did not fully work, so we could not change the channel. The fireplace, which we really wanted to use, was propane and I believe the pilot was not lit, so the fireplace didn't work. I just didn't feel comfortable trying to mess around with it, just a small miss.I would definitely suggest this place to anyone, I just think whoever is responsible for cleaning needs to do a little bit of a better job and I think they could use a little bit of an upgrade with some amenities inside the unit. The rental agency was responsive
