Max was a great host, very attentive to our needs. He gave us advice on getting into town and best way to do so. Property was very relaxing, cool area, nice to get out of the hustle of the city and lights. Would love to stay for a period when we weren’t gone most of day to really enjoy the beauty of the area. Cool, rustic, historic place

Peaceful off-the-grid getaway with stunning views. We had a wonderful stay. The views of the wetlands were absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset - truly a peaceful and serene setting. We loved being able to explore the wetlands right on the property. And it was a perfect spot for both our kids and our dog to enjoy nature safely. The host was fantastic- great communication and very easy to work with. We felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay.

I’m a woodworker and carpenter, I live and work nearby. I have lived here for over 20 years in the main lodge and spent several years renovating the guest house so I can share this amazing property. I have enjoyed staying here and making it a self sufficient off grid living sanctuary.

I love living in a peaceful natural environment, away from the noise and traffic of the city. It’s a safe but secluded place where you can enjoy peace and quiet and get inspiration from nature.

It is a truly unique place, just 5 miles from the nearest town but at least 3 miles from the nearest neighbor, A treasure in the middle of the Bay Area. Just a few minutes from Napa, Sonoma, and Vallejo, less than one hour from San Francisco or Sacramento.
