This place was very clean when we arrived! It was totally adequate space for our family of 6. The kitchen was well stocked. The host was easy to communicate with. We loved being just steps away from the beach!

Location couldn’t have been better. The space was great for my family of 5. Also perfect for our morning walks for coffee, plenty of good spots close by.

the place is decorated nice and is spacious for two bedroom. There is no AC and windows were challenging to open (and dusty). Bathrooms were nice but one shower had a sticking sliding door. The master bedroom bed and mattress were absolutely horrible. The mattress had a bowling ball size hole in it and you can feel the springs. We slept in the kids beds in other room.

Please work on getting AC for the unit. Due to the heat, poor airflow, and carpets the place smells musty and urine. The kids beds mattress are rock hard and the half the windows do not have screens, don't open, and have to prop some of them open. The one window by the patio doors in the dining room comes out. I see the bathrooms are remodeled so it my just be having that cash flow to renovate, but the condition is very poor.

The location and property - spacious, clean and well equipped - is what stood out. The host was responsive and provided all the necessary information we needed for a safe and enjoyable stay. We can’t wait to come back!

I really wanted to love this unit because the location is AMAZING. It is steps from the beach but not on the boardwalk so it is very quiet, close to great little walk-up food and drink and very short walk to the family friendly Belmont. It was also incredibly clean, without even the usual beach-rental sand!Some of the concerns are that unit was very stuffy/hot with no AC, even during mild weather. Several windows either don’t open, have no screens, or fall out, so we had to leave the doors open much of the time, which meant very little privacy. The master bed was uncomfortable. We could feel the springs and there was a noticeable dip. I realize this is a lower priced rental than I usually book, so expecting perfection would be unfair. The location and cleanliness are fantastic, but the unit could use a little some TLC to make it a more comfortable stay.

well, the location is amazing and what I was looking for and expecting with the listing. the house was clean , redone & well furnished but few details were making the overall down as : king mattress has to be changed, pots/pans so old and over used , microwave plate not the right size, outside chair not fitting the table to enjoy the balcony, neighbor 's flag blocking the view .

Our stay was very good. The location was great and the condo was clean and had all we needed. Plenty of towels and bedding and a comfortable set up. The master bed slumped a bit and there were some broken drawers so a little updating there would be good. The keyless entry for the garage did not work so we had to make sure and keep the garage door opener with us so we could access our car. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

It’s really a shame that management of this property has allowed it to decay. Numerous things were not working (lights, faucets, garbage disposal, bathroom fan, grill lighter, screens, shades, broken fridge shelves and ice & water dispenser), the carpet was filthy, as were the windows and shades, and all the mattresses are in need of replacement. Unclear whether anyone ever goes to even check on this place. We were given the wrong code for accessing the unit, and couldn’t reach anyone while we stood outside with wet children, since we’d gone to the beach while the cleaner finished past check-in time. Too bad because the location is terrific.

Beautiful home with ocean views. Pro's: clean, location, connection with property owner.Con's: Walk up is rough if you need the hand rail (rust, ooof that hurt), garage is narrow as shown in property pics, just beware. And ohhhh... the mattresses in the 2nd bedroom, i have slept on better otdoor camping cot's. Ouch.

The Good: Unit is one minute walk to Mission Beach.The Bad:Host gave me the wrong code for the lockbox, the customer service told us to try four different combinations before we can get the key to the front door.The shower door to the guest bathroom is broken. My husband and son had to hold the door up to slide it open and close.The unit has no air conditioning. There is a thermostat but you can’t turn on the AC. The house was at 78-85 degrees during our stay. Not humanely possible to stay here during humid weather.All the mattresses are worn out. The bed in the master bedroom is worn out, there is already a dip in the mattress when you lay down.The bottom beds in the bunk beds are literally box springs.Part of the contract they make you sign is that you have to leave all used towels in one part of the bathroom, throw away all your trash and wash your dishes. For the 300 cleaning fee plus another 130 for “service fee “, I don’t think it is right to get charge this much when I have to do 50% of the cleaning work.Other than that, the beach was awesome.

Positives:Location was amazing Very clean when we arrived Negatives:No AC which we knew going in, but we assumed we would be able to open windows for ventilating, but every window had screws preventing it from opening.The bathroom had a ton of ants in the bathtub. Kitchen sink wouldn’t drain. We tried the garbage disposal and it didn’t help and smelled horrible. We contacted the host and they apologized for the inconvenience and said that they would let the team know, but nothing got fixed while we were there. We weren’t able to use the sink at all the whole stay and the stagnant smelly water just sat in the sink. It was a pretty disappointing.
