Our family weekend at Live Edge Lodge was wonderful. The house was spacious enough to accommodate 18 of us. Everything was labeled and organized very well. We had everything we needed inside and outside. There are plenty of areas to entertain kids and adults. We enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous property.

We had an amazing stay for my parents’ 60th anniversary. The house is AMAZING. Edie is so communicative and easy to work with. We can’t wait to come back!

Live Edge Lodge was perfect for our family gathering of 11. There were more than enough beds and all the rooms were very spacious. The house was very clean and all the furnishings were upscale and felt like you were staying at a luxury resort. The home was well stocked with everything needed in the dual kitchens and laundry rooms, the multiple dining areas both inside and out and the multiple couches and entertaining areas including the pool table, fuse ball and air hockey. We highly recommend this amazing home to anyone visiting the Lake Gaston area. Edie was always very responsive to any questions and helpful when early check in was requested.

We had an absolute blast at this beautiful property! We kayaked, swam, paddleboarded, fished, and played on the inflatable mat on the water. (We also rented another big floating mat from a local company for all the kids.) The house was gorgeous and fit our group of 20 perfectly, with bathrooms to spare. We cooked every night and when it rained, the indoor amenities were super fun - pool, darts, poker, and ping pong. We enjoyed a local ice cream place, Lickety Split, a few miles away. Host was helpful and responsive, and it was the most fun & memorable weekend!

My friends and I get together twice a year. This was our first trip to Lake Gaston. This fabulous house was great for 6 women for a weekend. The kitchen is well stocked. The view is lovely. Rosemont Winery is just a 5 to 10 minute drive and we recommend you try it. We loved the house.

Our family visited "Live Edge Lodge" for the weekend, and we had an amazing experience. The newly built, spacious lakefront home is absolutely beautiful. With 7 bedrooms, it comfortably accommodates up to 20 guests, making it perfect for large family gatherings or group trips.Edie, the owner, was extremely accommodating and always quick to respond, which made our stay even more pleasant. One of the highlights of the property was the large fire pit that comfortably fit everyone — we spent some of our best moments together around the fire.The house is fully equipped with games and offers plenty of lake activities, including canoeing, ensuring there was never a dull moment for either adults or kids.We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again.

Superb accommodation for a large family or group. Well stocked kitchen and many games. One surprise was a group fishing permit from the dock.

We had a wonderful stay at Live Edge Lodge. The house is beautiful and very clean when we arrived. It was great for our 4 generation family with lots to do and areas for individuals to get away when desired. We look forward to coming again. We appreciated that there is a generator as it had to kick in twice when we had evening thunderstorms.

Amazing Lake House!

Such a beautiful home right on Lake Gaston! The house was so clean and well-organized. Having the kayaks and paddle boards to use freely was a huge perk. The gorgeous deck and fire pit were perfect for our group of friends to hang out around!

The perfect vacation in the perfect home. If you have a large group, this home is it. Most spacious home we have stayed in yet and equipped so well. The basement is fabulous for evening entertainment with so much to do to keep all ages occupied. The outside area has ample seating areas and the covered deck is convenient if it sprinkles. There may be several stairs to the dock, but they are spaced out enough to make it an easier walk up or down. And if communication is important to you, you'll be impressed with the owners. Great timely communication.This is a home we will return to.
