Godenano di Mezzo si trova solamente a 10/15 minuti di cammino dal centro storico di Castellina in Chianti, dove potete trovare tutto il necessario per rendere completa la vostra vacanza, Negozi, Supermarket, Bar, Pizzerie, Ristoranti e Enoteche.
La nostra piscina è l'ideale per rilassarsi, posizionata a sud-ovest, gode di una splendida vista sulle colline circostanti e su tutta la Val D'Elsa.
Inoltre a poca distanza da Godenano di Mezzo ci sono alcune delle Aziende Vitivinicole più rinomate del territorio e di fama internazionale, con la possibilità di degustare i loro prodotti esclusivi.
Tutta la zona circostante si presta per una vacanza enogastronomica incredibile, dai mille sapori e piena di prelibatezze tipiche della nostra tradizione che ci ha reso famosi in tutto il mondo, passerete intere giornate ad assaggiare i sapori della Toscana. In conclusione, contesto geografico ideale.
Tutti gli appartamenti hanno accesso alla piscina panoramica esterna dotata di lettini, sdraio e ombrelloni/tettoia. Inoltre a disposizione degli ospiti vi è un barbecue in area comune ed un parcheggio gratuito.

A wonderful time in Castellina

My husband and I had a fantastic two weeks here. Linda is a lovely lady and wonderful host. The apartment was pefect a d very relaxing. The pool was perfect and the views breathtaking. We hope to return to this beautiful place.

Beautiful Tuscany

A wonderful location in the heart of the Chianti region. Lovely village within walking distance with many restaurants to choose from. Easy drive to other villages and towns. Accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Gracious host providing local advice and produce from her garden.

Tuscany Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time! Linda is a great host and very helpful. We stayed in the Falco apartment and couldn't asked for anything better. Everything looks new! Great decor and comfortable beds. Awesome views! This is the perfect location to visit Florence, Siena, and surrounding areas.

A home from home in beautiful Tuscany

Linda was a wonderful host, nothing was too much trouble for her. The accommodation was very spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Gardens were very spacious, well kept and a peaceful place to sit and relax in total privacy. Nice restaurants and a gelateria in the town which is within walking distance. Thanks Linda for making our stay so enjoyable, hopefully we will return one day!

Marvellous stay with a lovely host !

Ideally situated for a holiday in the Chianti region of Tuscany. Good location for visiting Siena; Florence and Pisa.. In close proximity to the local town ( fifteen minutes walk albeit uphill ) with an array of restaurants to entice. Also a gelateria with ice cream sent from Heaven ! Truly amazing swimming pool with marvellous views over Tuscany, Linda was a friendly and helpful host kindly sharing vegetables from her garden with us and offering local information.

Wonderful, well appointed and great location!!!

My husbad and I stayed in the Rosemary room for a week in June and cannot say enough good things about it! The room was lovely, clean and tastefully decorated, the views from our terrace were incredible (we so enjoyed eating outdoors and watching the sunsets while sipping Chianti's finest) and being able to walk into Castellina was an added bonus. Such a delightful little town with lots of great restaurants! The owner was lovely and the olive oil delicious :) We would definitely return to this location should the opportunity arise!!

Hidden gem

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised how wonderful this place was. Linda from day one was very friendly and accommodating to us. Gave wonderful recommendations to all the great food in the area. The location was just right amount of space for privacy, yet close enough to still walk to. It’s a bit of a climb but totally worth it if you want to burn off those gelato calories lol. We definitely want to come back again! We already miss it ~

Apartment with a view

My husband and I enjoyed three relaxing nights in this apartment on our drive through Tuscany. The Rosmarino room was spacious and comfortable with a great patio overlooking the valley below. Linda was kind enough to share some lovely produce from their garden and made sure we had everything we needed. Afternoons at the pool felt very refreshing after mornings sightseeing. We also enjoyed some lovely meals in Castellina in Chianti and an excellent gelateria down the street.

Perfect

We were looking for a laid back break in the middle of our 2 week trip to Italy, this was it ! Old farmhouse 1 mile from the closest town...again, perfect. Town had everything you would need. Restaurants, wine bars, shopping, grocery store...all charming. Old farmhouse with modern amenities including great pool. Fresh grapes, peaches, tomatoes and olives right outside our door. Linda was a great host, all was good. Will definitely return !

Wonderful Chianti visit!

My husband and I spent 5 days at this farmhouse, which was accurately described on the website. The apartment we were in was very clean and well-maintained. We were supplied with everything we needed, including olive oil and tomatoes upon our arrival - what a treat! The surrounding grounds and the pool are quite nice, showing an obvious amount of work on the property. We took two daytrips to San Gimignano and Florence...both easily accessible from the farmhouse. We enjoyed our treks into the town of Castellina for food, wine, gelato, strolling, shopping, etc. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The PERFECT Place to Fill Your Senses and Explore Tuscany

From the first email with Linda, and throughout the entire stay at beautiful Godenano di Mezzo, our expectations were exceeded. The blend of professionalism and warmth that Linda exhibits makes an amazing place to stay even better. Two of us stayed in the Lavanda suite, which was absolutely perfect. From the spectacular view and sunsets, to the beautiful gardens, orchards, sweet Otto, Leone, the falcons... my senses were filled the entire time. The nearby small town of Castellina is perfectly charming and filled with just enough good restaurants and stores that, although you'll want to explore all of Tuscany from this ideal location, you wouldn't need to leave the area if you didn't want to. This is a life enriching experience that I relive everytime I taste the delicious olive oil produced from the property. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful location in Castellina in Chianti

We stayed for one week in September. The accommodations were great. Had everything we needed in our apt. Had lovely grape vines that hung over our sitting area right outside our door. It had a beautiful pool overlooking the region. (A tad chilly for me - I would have liked it a little warmer but my spouse found it fine.) The village of Castellina is quaint and has everything you need. I went to a wine store (can’t remember the name) but you could buy a wine card for $10 euro and got to try 8 different fabulous wines. Best bargain anywhere. Of course I ended up buying a lovely bottle from there. I even got to see his wine cellar which was lovely. Did day trips from our base here to Montepulciano, Pisa, Sienna. We bought food at the local Co-op so had a lot of meals at our place but did eat a couple meals out locally and the food is fabulous. Lovely relaxing holiday.

Nice property in the Tuscan countryside

Our stay was wonderful aside from a few manageable challenges. Our apartment was lovely, clean, and spacious, with a nice bedroom, living area, bathroom, and outdoor sitting area / view. The view, however, was 80% blocked by a long green construction fence because of recent storm damage, while the view from the pool was stunning as advertised. The location was central to Tuscany, convenient with easy access by car to many beautiful Tuscan destinations, with the local town wonderful as advertised. Owner communications with specific directions to the property were delayed, causing confusion upon arrival which unfortunately was at night, and given the rough nature of the property access road, resulted in minor damage to our rental vehicle, but once we knew which driveway to enter, all was well. The kitchen was functional and supported all our mealtime needs. Guests just need to come well stocked with any coffee and food condiments required. Navigating Florence or any of the local towns, was a challenge for two specific reasons. "Low Emissions Zones", if violated, result in traffic-camera based tickets, and it's not clear how to keep from violating these zones.. A constant issue. Parking was also a challenge, but garages in Florence were available albeit a bit pricy. Parking near mountaintop towns were hit and miss...some had well marked lots, some not. All in all, a very nice property, wonderful host, and a lovely stay with a few manageable challenges.

Can I just say...Heaven.

My wife and I spent three nights at Godenano di mezzo and 5 stars are just not enough. This is a beautifully restored farmhouse from the 1200's and it is just an incredible location. It was like hanging out in a movie set or a storybook. The property is in the midst of olive trees and vineyards, with wonderfully maintained grounds. We stayed in the rosemary apartment and it did not disappoint, it was very clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The small town nearby (Castillina) was just a perfect Tuscan hill village. Wonderful streets, nice restaurants, and not very crowded....perfect. We came here after Rome and it was like slipping into a warm hot tub after a hard day. I wish we had more time to spend there. It was close to Siena and other more tourist hill towns so they are easy to see during the day but really this place is THE Tuscan experience... you don't have to go anywhere else, the other cities we saw were just "extra's". The pool was wonderful (even though it was a bit chilly because of the late season) with a great valley view and super clean (I don't believe there was one thing out of place on this whole property in or out, it was immaculately kept). Our hosts were extremely nice and very helpful about the local area. I just cant say enough how perfect this place is, so I am sure you can tell I would recommend it to anyone for a stay there...just make it a long one, you will never regret it. :)

Owned and run by our family the property offers our guests a warm and welcome enviroment in which to enjoy typical tuscan hospitality and enjoy genuine produce such as our own extra virgin olive oil, grapes, fruit and vegetables in season all produced by ourselves.

Our surrounding countryside is the ideal place to enjoy nature in peace and quiet, relax, walk or trek the ancient Via Romea which crosses our property. Here you can admire the beautiful scenery over the Val d’elsa and see in the distance the towers of San Gimignano and the surrounding hills of Monteriggioni, Colle Val d’elsa and Casole d’elsa. Florence is 45 minutes by car and Siena 25 minutes. There is much to do and see in this area and the property is ideally situated to explore Chianti and beyond. A 15 minute walk takes you into the town of Castellina where you will find shops and galleries, many very good restaurants, pizzerias and cafès, a supermarket, winecellars and excellent icecream. The town itself is lovely to explore and there are many organised events which we will let you know about in advance. The area has many very good wineries to visit and partake in winetasting and we can organise winetours with pick up and drop off here on the property. These tours take in 2 or more wineries and include lunch or dinner for a very good price.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

The result of this work is a harmonious and comfortable enviroment which provides three apartments selectly decorated with traditional rural tuscan furnishings. The restoration that has been done is in bio edilizia or ecologically restored using only ecological materials so that the house and apartments breathe. The setting is such that there are stunning views over the surrounding valleys and Tuscan countryside. While we are close to the town center we are also a very quiet and tranquill
spot where one can relax and enjoy the Tuscan surroundings.
