Amazing!

We had such a great stay at Shasta Retreat 8! The house was perfect for our group and had everything we needed for a fun weekend at the lake. The location was great, the home was spacious and comfortable, and everything was clean and well kept. Our host was also super helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again for another Shasta trip!

Amazing Stay!

We stayed at the property with 2 fams with 4 young kids and it was spacious and comfortable! The kids also loved the game room downstairs. Lori was super helpful with navigating us with our boat parking situation and was a life saver when we popped the tire on our trailer! Extremely responsive and sent over her handyman asap to assist! We’ve stayed at another property of hers last year and we will stay at any of her properties over and over again!

Great Stay

Great clean property. Fans in every room and close to everything. Very quiet and pictures matched up with in person stay. Would stay here again!

Great house, close to lake!

The house was prefect for our group of eight. Two families with kids. Close to Lake Shasta. Host was super responsive. Would stay again!

Amazing stay in June 2025!

We stayed in cabin 8 this trip. Simply delightful stay. The game room was a blast with the basketball hoops and ping pong. AC worked great on the hot days. Bathrooms are nicely updated and very functional. Beds are very nice also. Greatly enjoyed the deck with lake views.

Family gathering

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious home. It is perfect for a large group. We enjoyed most evenings around the fire pit. The game room was a real treat as well. Thank you!

Amazing family trip.

We had an amazing much needed family trip. The property was exactly as the picture showed. There was a small hiccup with the refrigerator but the host sent someone out to fix it immediately. Definitely a place we would return to.

House was great for our family...beds very comfortable...well stocked home...game room could use some improvements...a real pool table would have been nice. Otherwise we were pleased with our stay

Wonderful Stay

Perfect for all adults or family with kids. Plenty of space and kitchen well equipped with dishes and utensils. Beautiful, well lit bathrooms too! Across the street is a little cove you can walk to. Very rocky but bring some chairs to sit and enjoy the lake. Lori and Dave very friendly and available, answered all my questions quickly.

Beautiful home ! Beautiful view!

We loved our stay! The bedrooms were spacious and the deck and garage play area were prefect for our family reunion! It kept the kids busy! (We rented multiple homes and used these places to gather) . What a beautiful home. Love the updated bathrooms! They communicated well with us! We had a wonderful time! The water toys were also a plus to use. Thank you!!!

Fabulous Place to Stay

We had such a great first time experience in Shasta! We loved the house and it was stocked with everything we needed! We loved hanging out on the balcony and enjoying barbecuing, playing cards on the outdoor table and most of all, enjoying our time by the gas fire place! We loved the fact that it slept so many people and there was plenty of room for our party of 9. Our kids loved the game room downstairs and spent a lot of time there! Great times! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy such a great location!

Beautiful home for a lake retreat

This home is the perfect place for large groups of family and friends. The home is very spacious and has so many amenities. My Family and I spent 3 nights together around the outdoor fire pit, barbequing and enjoying the comfy outdoor seating. We had fires in the indoor fireplace as well, and played games at the large dining table. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked all our meals. The beds are comfortable and the house is immaculate. The home has a view of the lake and is close to a marina where we tried out the paddle board. We'll definitely be back.

Retreat 8 was perfect!

We had such a wonderful family vacation! The house was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our entire group. The bunk beds in the bedrooms made it easy for everyone to have a place to sleep, which was perfect for our family. The updated bathrooms were a really nice touch and added to the overall comfort of our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, cookware, and essentials we needed to prepare meals. There were also plenty of games for everyone to enjoy, and the game room downstairs was a huge hit with the kids—it kept them entertained for hours. The location was excellent—just around the corner from Sugarloaf Marina, making it convenient to get out on the water. Parking was a little tricky at first, but we were able to make it work without much trouble. Two thing to note, 1: It is mostly uphill and then a staircases to get in the house so if you have anyone with mobility issues it could be challenging. (Tip: You could enter from the back of the house to avoid the main staircase). 2: The stove is an electric induction cooktop, so will ONLY works with induction-compatible pots and pans, but they do have in the bottom drawer. Once we figured that out, it wasn’t an issue. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely book this house again!
