Exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated!

The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. We loved spending peaceful evenings on the deck. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the towel warmers were a lovely extra touch. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again!

Lovely Home

This is the second time we've rented this lovely home. The area is close to everything. We enjoyed hiking, spending a day with family and see all that Fort Payne has to offer.

Amazing stay over Memorial Day weekend while in town for a dog show!

We had an amazing stay over Memorial Day weekend while in town for a dog show! Traveling with dogs was easy thanks to the pet-friendly setup, and the backyard was a huge bonus for letting them relax after long days. The home was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Communication with the host was excellent and everything was exactly as described. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it, especially for anyone traveling with pets!

So many extra touches! One of our favorite places to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Fort Payne. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and feel at home right away. It had so many extra touches - we loved the sound machines, towel warmers and pretty outside lights. Coffee bar was such a nice touch as well. We travel to Fort Payne often to visit family, and this has been one of our favorite places to stay. We will definitely be renting this house again on future trips. Highly recommend!

Location is great!

The home is beautifully decorated, and sufficiently stocked. We truly enjoyed the common areas such as kitchen, living room, and two porches to sit and visit with our family. The location is great. It is so close to town, yet such a quiet surrounding.

Comfortable beds and everything we needed!

We were visiting my grandfather in Valley Head and chose to stay here and were SO happy with our decision! This is a lovely home and we had such a fun time. The leaves surrounding the property are absolutely gorgeous in November, and we were so glad to have such a great view in every direction. The beds were very comfortable, and the home has everything you need. Next time we visit Alabama as a family, we will check availability here first!

This is a wonderful home.

We just returned from a 7-night stay. The home is new & and the owners have gone above & beyond to make it a lovely home both inside & out. Peaceful Retreats staff are supper attentive & had even left us an amazing gift basket. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas.
