Mountain Azure Tahoe offers the perfect Lake Tahoe escape — a custom-designed home just 220 feet from the beach, surrounded by hiking trails, and outfitted with everything you need to unwind.

LOCATION & ACCESS
Located in Zephyr Cove on the South Shore, you're steps from Lake Tahoe's clearest waters and minutes from world-class ski resorts. Short walk to semi private beach. Heavenly Gondola is 11 minutes away. Whether you're here for ski season, summer lake days, or a romantic retreat, you're perfectly positioned.

INDOOR SPACES
The open-concept living room features a stunning wood-burning stove, a Sony OLED TV, and lake and mountain views. The chef's kitchen showcases hand-crafted thick walnut countertops paired with stainless steel appliances. Three bedrooms sleep 8 guests comfortably, including a custom spa master suite with heated tile floors and a multi-head shower. WiFi, washer/dryer, and all the comforts of home are included.

OUTDOOR LIVING
This is where Mountain Azure shines. The private patio features a heated hot tub, a custom fire pit surrounded by wildflowers, a full BBQ, and lounge seating. We had such a nice stay in Lake Tahoe! The house was dog friendly, which was a big plus for us, and we loved having hiking trails right behind the property…the trees and large boulder rocks on trail were absolutely gorgeous! We even saw a bear back there, which made our stay extra memorable! The hot tub was a nice way to relax after the drive to Tahoe and so nice after a day of exploring. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful home to share with family for a trip to the mountains! It was great to stay in a home that so clearly welcomed a dog. It was great that there were food and water bowls as well as a basket of toys.

My husband and I stayed at this home for a week with our dog and had a great time! The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Great kitchen, amazing master bathroom, and we loved hanging out by the fire and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing in at night. It was a great location and close to all of the places we wanted to explore. The hosts were great and very quick to respond. Our only negative was the driveway access, it’s a small lane way off of the highway next to a blind corner, it was scary pulling on to the main road when we would go somewhere.

Detached fenced yard off the garage for safe nightly potty time for the pup. Single level with only a couple stairs at the front which is important for my elderly parents. Super dog friendly and right off highway 50, easy to go and explore all sides of the lake. Host was very quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay and check in and out was super simple! The house is nicely remodeled and we actually all used the master bathroom which was amazing! We had a really great time.

Lovely home for family stay

My family had a wonderful stay at the house. The big shower was amazing! Once the heater hit the desired warmth, it was very comfortable. During our stay it did snow so it was a good experience for my children.We got groceries to cook during our stay and the Safeway is pretty close and open 24hrs.Something to keep in mind during the winter visit, the trail in the back can get very icy and there is no handrail or signs. Be very cautious.The owners are very responsive and thoughtful.

Unprofessional management

This property offers a comfortable, family-oriented, and cozy atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to stay. The remodeled and modernized bathrooms and showers add extra comfort to the vacation experience.However, despite the positive aspects of the property itself, our stay was significantly impacted by poor management. The manager unexpectedly arrived at our door before our scheduled checkout date and forced us to leave. It appeared the property had been double-booked on multiple websites, creating a conflict. Unfortunately, the management did not offer any compensation for this major disruption, which was both disappointing and unprofessional.Additionally, although a cleaning fee was included in the charges, the kitchen was not properly cleaned upon arrival. The sink, stove, and kettle were greasy, which further detracted from the experience.While the property itself has potential, the management issues and lack of proper cleanliness make it difficult to recommend with confidence.

We have super host and guest favorite status on another platform. We notified VRBO about significant damage done during this stay.

Great location. Please check out the little beach across HIghway 50. Cross walk works nicely. Just head to the nearest beach access on your left once you cross the road. Primary bathroom shower is amazing. Hosts were very helpful when we needed them. Including our goof trying to get in! Will definitely stay again if in the area.

My husband bought the house in 2011. The quiet and being so close to the shore of the lake is what makes the neighborhood amazing.

This custom home was re-designed by the my husband and I. Using the most natural materials. Featuring many types of solid wood and stone throughout. Privacy is probably our favorite amenity. You and your guests will have the large property to yourselves. Planned with your enjoyment and relaxation the highest priority.
