This cabin had all the amenities we were looking for- kid and pet friendly and a hot tub for parents after bedtime! The location was remote but not secluded, which we liked. The stream was gorgeous and sleeping with the windows open sent us off to dreamland with natural "white noise". Kids loved exploring the stream and island, the tire swing. We were close to downtown Sylva for dinner and groceries- the kitchen was very well stocked! Our hosts were in contact when needed and flexible with check in /check out. The decor is so unique and full of Americana folk art- we loved the whole vibe! Make sure to read the story in the description of how the cabin arrived on site!

Every thing about this place was perfect for spending time with my son and grandsons. Fishing was fantastic. Conveniences of kitchen was like being at home! We will definitely stay here again when up that way.

The house was a beautiful house the location was very nice we loved the creek. We spent an additional 175on fire wood trying to keep it warm,we left it cleaner than what we found i. I would be very embarrassed to reant this place out

Not sure why you needed to buy firewood to keep warm. We have two gas heaters in house (which can heat the entire house), as well a a few electric space heaters as well as Baseboard heaters. You should have called me so I could have helped

Relaxing to the sound of the creek

Interior of the cabin is amazing and full of rustic charm. The town of Sylva is just a few minutes away and has some nice restaurants. Very dog friendly town, so can take your pup to dinner with you!

Long weekend with family

Absolutely loved the property and location. Sitting on the front porch with the sound of the creek is as peaceful as it gets. Would definitely stay again. Close to Sylva and some wonderful hiking.

I loved the creek being on the property! The heaters provided a lot of warmth as we were there during very low temps. Lots of extras including games. The lantern was helpful especially at night as the cabin is dim inside. Great opportunity to unplug in an antique cabin!

Graduation weekend

Great location. Loved the stream, tire swing and the front porch. Truly a mountain cabin with all the amenities. So fun! We enjoyed our time and would rent again.

Cabin was cozy. Loved the front porch. Loved the hot tub. Loved the decorations. Lighting was dim even though there was plenty of lamps. Loved the upstairs. Host was very patient while helping me get the heater lit. Friend got to see a cub.

Quiet and beautiful

We stayed for 4 nights it was beautiful with the creek running in the front yard I spent hours setting on the porch drinking coffee. Only 30 minutes to smoky mountain national park

Mountain Getaway

It was the perfect weekend mountain getaway. The entire family loved the cabin! The setting was just ideal. We spent lots of time just enjoying the creek. So Peaceful! Clean and well organized with wonderful Hosts!

Peaceful Rustic Cabin

Enjoyed the cool mornings and listening to the creek when going to bed and waking up. Front porch was very enjoyable to relax by the creek.

More than a cabin

This was a fantastic place to stay. I don’t believe that if you had a check off list to find your perfect rustic get away, that you could design a better place to relax at. The stream was awesome.

By the creek

The family spent most of our time creek side, lounging on the porch, grilling on the deck, roasting marshmallows over the fire pit, playing in the creek with our kids and dogs, and playing cornhole. What an absolutely beautiful location for vacation!
