The perfect house for a peaceful and beautiful vacation. We spent hours admiring hanging rock state park (only 10 mins away) and all the rest of our time enjoying the beautiful farm house and property. Can’t wait to go back!

Accurately described, no surprises. Lots of historical info re this property. Make sure to visit the on site family cemetery. Prefer staying at farmhouses with character in our travels. This property met all expectations. Of note….owner Bryan is a superb communicator, no need to wonder as his description(s) were very comprehensive. So helpful, above and beyond! You will not harbor a single regret should you book this property. NC countryside & surrounding area, pretty cool as well.

The rooms were clean with plenty of linens and towels for all of us. The host was very responsive and informative about the house, amenities, and things to do around the area. We also brought our dogs and they were able to run around on the HUGE property. They even had towels for the dog’s feet which was great. I have nothing but great things to say about our stay and we will definitely be coming back in the future!

Peaceful and quiet, Private and secluded. Our family enjoyed hiking the many trails at nearby Hanging Rock State Park then retreating to the farmhouse to relax. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Our host Bryan was quick to respond and very kind. We would stay here again.

This is an ideal location for experiencing life in the country and a comfortable and welcoming environment. From the kitchen to the bedroom to the bathrooms, everything was clean, functioning, and as expected. The area itself is amazing and extremely close to hanging rock in other nearby attractions. Bonus points for the lovely fire pit in a wide open field where you can enjoy stargazing or just relaxing enjoying the views.

We loved the house the barn and all of the surrounding area of the property. The rooms were very clean, the host was very helpful and the house and property were pet friendly.

We came to the farm for a holiday weekend getaway from Charlotte as our senior dog is terrified of fireworks. I think we had the most relaxing fireworks holiday we have ever had as there were so few fireworks heard, and even then, they were off in a distance and were done at a reasonable hour.Aside from the quietness, the house is well kept and clean. It has every thing you need for a comfortable stay - nice furniture in all rooms, kitchen fully stocked, wifi, etc.We had fun exploring the property, as well as sitting on the porch enjoying the mountain views in the mornings before it got to hot. If you are a hiker, the house is very close to Hanging Rock State Park.Highly recommend this home if you find yourself in this area!

Host provided thorough directions and necessary information well in advance of our stay. The farm house was well stocked, clean and charming. We loved the fire pit and the weather was perfect for it. We will definitely consider another stay there.

We loved our stay at this lovely farm house. The host, Bryan, was welcoming and helpful. I loved that they sent us a detailed document with some history of the home and local places to check out for dining and entertainment. The location is perfect if you're visiting Hanging Rock State Park, because you are just a couple of miles away from the park and have a great view from the home.

What a great rental!!! The home has everything that you need. Loved the location and the property is absolutely beautiful. Home is very comfortable and so so peaceful! Loved going to John Browns store and hiking around Hanging Rock which is very close to the property. Will definitely be coming back.

Relaxing weekend getaway

We had a wonderful weekend at this property! The house was cozy and very clean. The owners provided everything you could possibly need! Our dogs loved running around all the open space. We will definitely book another weekend here in the future!

For a very relaxing vacation in a beautiful, peaceful location, stay here, you won't be disappointed. You can walk the property, sit on the porch and enjoy the view and wildlife or hike at nearby Hanging Rock SP or Pilot Mountain SP. It is as advertised!
