Communication was good and got the price and for a quick trip it’s a good stay the idea of the home community is cute but the upkeep and cleanliness of the place is not the best. But they were understanding and very apologetic.

Everything has worked perfectly, as described, no problem with staff, and quick response from management. I've been here for about 4 weeks, and I was lucky to find close to my job.

This property meets the need. There is nothing fancy about it. We were perfectly fine. Suggestions: 1. matching curtains 2. Curtain rods that are not bent & sagging 3. Shelves in the shower. - The shower is very small & a shelf on the wall for personal shampoo etc would be nice. - There are some very sturdy ones sold on Temu with fantastic suction so they don’t fall. 4. Cleaning crew should check for open windows & that cutlery are clean. - A window had been left open in our room (we didn’t open it) & we had to deal with flies. - Also cutlery in the drawer was dirty (dried food). 5. The TV should work. - We were there for a week & the TV might have worked for 5 hours or so. - There was a lot of buffering or playback error & none of the streaming platforms ever worked. When we contacted host about the missing access code, they were very friendly & solved the issue quickly. When we contacted the host about the flies, the response & resolution were quick & the host was extremely apologetic for the window being left open.

To start, the biggest issue with this specific unit, is the wifi. The entire time I was sitting there I had to use the guest wifi of a building, that I'm assuming is behind Chic City Retreat. Even with the Smart Tv they have, on the wall closest to where the internet signal is, I had to rely on the unsecured guest wifi to get anywhere. And this is weird, because they have an wifi extender in unit. And it works because I was able to use it for Ethernet, fairly weak signal. This keeps it from a 4 star rating. Everything else is pretty small. I asked them about it, and they said the modem is in a different unit that someone was in, they have to ask permission to reset it. And I get much stronger signal from my car parked outside than I do within my own unit. I'm harsh about it because I know without the guest wifi, I would've been livid and harped on it everyday with them.Other issues: Bugs, Placement (Downtown Traffic), Dumpster being near two of the windows (attracting more bugs), Gate not really working, the shower in the bathroom (overhead with crusty walls(bring sandals)), and nothing being super close in walking distance. Positives: Free Parking (somewhat Competitive, mostly available), Plenty of room to put things, Laundry room - 2 wash/2 dry next door (free for guests), Nice clean space, Staff clean linens and rooms upon exit.And the biggest positive: AC!!! And they had fixed it the day after I came. HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!Overall, this unit is good for the price.
