Location location location!! We had a wonderful time at pumpkin fest in egg harbor. We didn’t have to worry about driving anywhere. We did a lot of people watching from the front porch as well! Would definitely come back!

The Larson Home had everything we needed. Clean, cozy and within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. ...Thank you! The half bathroom not advertised was a plus.

The home smelled like mold. There was dirty laundry just thrown down the basement steps. There wasn't a wine opener and the can opener didn't work at all for us to make dinner. The bed was not comfortable and squeeked loudly anytime we would move while trying to sleep.I was not at all what I expected for what I had to pay.Location was nice.

You arrived early, checked in without authorization. The cleaning was done minutes before you intruded. The home only smells like cleaning fluid, something not familiar to you. All homes smell different, ours is clean like everyone says. Wine openers disappear to beaches and sunsets and I provided you an opener immediately. Yep possibly I through cleaning rags down stairs instead of putting in dirty laundry pile. Boo hoo, you both were very bad people. The house is as advertised and our guest like it. Was there something in my basement you needed? All there is a concrete floor, washer and dryer? 3 night stay and need laundry done. Iyiyiyi,

This house had a great location, was clean and comfortable for my family of 4. It met all my expectations based on pictures, info, and other reviews. My only feedback would be that if I were to stay again, I would prefer both bedrooms have lamps (I know old house outlets are tough). Just something I didn’t think of until I realized I missed that. If you are looking for clean and walkable this place is great!

The house was very clean and neat. All the appliances were working and in good repair. Its locations is also really nice and walking distance to plenty of shops, restaurants, and the marina. On the negative side was the house is not very comfortable place to relax. There is one couch and a very hard futon. The front porch is about 10 feet from a very busy road. The fire pit is right in front of another property’s front door. There are no windows that open in the bedrooms or ceiling fans so it got hot real quick even with AC. We like to spend the days hiking then come back to relax, read, and play games but this property was not well suited to that.

Your review is inaccurate and unfair to future potential guests. Our porch is far from the road front and in fact there is two separate side walks, a rose garden and lawn before the road. The fire pit location is far from our lodge. The fire pit has 4 new chairs. The living room absolutely does not have a futon. Living room has picture windows as well one bedroom, the balance of rooms have brand new windows installed 2025. At arrival this guest first move was to violate our parking rules and being very rude, I corrected his behavior. Our photos support the truth as to the road front and backyard fire pit as well our reviews since 2013 do not reiterate this guest claims.

Great weekend stay

We rented this home with a large group of friends, many of whom stayed in one of the other Larsen properties next door. Excellent stay, clean, and bed was very comfortable.

Great little house!

This was a great little house for the three of us. It was set up well and is in the perfect location for walking to the shops, restaurants, brewery, marina, etc. in Egg Harbor. We really enjoyed our stay!

We were able to walk downtown, walk to breweries,etc. One Barrell had great beer, pizza and fun vibe.

Thank you. For the rate and the location of a home not pretending to be the ritz, providing an opportunity for those to vacation on a smaller budget, were a 4 or 5. 2025 big upgrade coming.

Great place

We had a total of 4 adults staying in the rental. Great place to stay walking distance from grocery stores that had great prices nothing over priced, harbor, brewery, distillery and other shops. Would stay here again if available.

Great location!

We had a great spot here for our 3 generation vacation! Nice spot for reading and playing games and setting down after shopping and listening to music. Door County is a beautiful place we will be returning to again!

Glad to hear the first review about enjoying rocking on the porch. If you would of told me about the coffee maker, you would of had a new one immediately. What happens is well water will slow a coffee maker down over time. I ran vinegar though the pot after reading your review, runs great. Thank you Paul and Mert

Definitely a good place to stay

An affordable house within walking distance to the main part of Egg Harbor. The house is well maintained, easy to check in and provides all the basic necessities. We had an opportunity to meet Paul and hope he was as happy with us as we were with his home.

Rustic place in a great location

The place was in an excellent location--easy to find and park and within walking distance of many local businesses and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and bedding was clean. It had more of a rustic, up-north cabin sort of feel. No frills, but it got the job done because we were only there really to sleep.

Great stay in egg harbor

This place was perfect for our family for a long weekend in door county. Walk to grocery, one barrel, and big easy for breakfast. If we were staying longing I wish it would have laundry. Other than that it had everything we needed and was a great location to visit family in southern door county and then visit a friend in Washington island. Would stay here again!

Great Location

Plenty of space, nice and clean with a great location. Paul was very nice to work with. He answered our question quickly.
