My family and I had a wonderful time celebrating my 81 year old father‘s birthday at this lovely well appointedproperty. You can really feel the family vibes here. Perfect yard for our pooch too!

This property was beautiful. It’s in the redwoods with the ocean about 5 miles away. We stayed there for our grandson‘s wedding and it was a perfect place and location. The only thing that surprised us is that there really aren’t three bedrooms. There is one bedroom with a king bed downstairs and then there are lofts upstairs. The lofts do have a wall between them with two queens on each side, but they are open to each other and open to the ground floor. The host was very generous and allowed us an early check-in and a late check out and answered all the questions I had. She was very helpful and very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved our quiet retreat here before Thanksgiving. The house is clean and spacious, the kitchen is amazing, and the kids loved learning how to make and tend to a wood fire in the stove. We explored the coast and the beach, enjoyed the town of Gualala and my favorite--we foraged for mushrooms and cooked a delicious chanterelle stew with our finds. I'd recommend this place to a family or group.

Peaceful retreat

We had a lovely weekend away from home. The house is in a beautiful area and there was plenty of room. The place was clean and welcoming for all of us.

Beautiful house and property

We were able to relax and regenerate at your beautiful house and property! We enjoyed the fireplace, TV and well stocked kitchen! We spent hours exploring the Mendocino coast and hope to visit again soon. Comfy beds

Went for my daughter’s birthday. The kitchen was excellent. I cooked all our meals and everything to make gourmet meals was on hand. Loved the stove the plates were gorgeous and everything else was great. The rooms were nice and comfortable. House was cozy once I got the fire going.

Great family getaway from SF the kids loved it great reset that we needed thanks Karen for the great communication we will definitely be back soon good memories were made at this beautiful property definitely great spot if In the area do not hesitate to book.

Nice stay close to the beach but away from humans

This place was perfect for my family. We were comfortable and although this was during a record heat wave, the cabin stayed nice and cool all day. The queen beds upstairs were very comfortable and the view from up there is great.

New year in Gualala

Our group of family and friends have gathered here twice a year for several years. The large living room, kitchen and dining area give plenty of room to relax. The property is very private and quiet.

Beautiful property with nice outdoor spaces for kids to play and explore. Great downstairs space in kitchen, dining room, and living room for family to gather. One bedroom with king bed. The other 4 queen beds are in an open loft, with a 3/4 length wall dividing the open loft in half.

We had a lovely visit here. It was so relaxing and quiet, surrounded by woods without another soul around. We enjoyed ambling in the meadow with our dogs and breathing in the fresh clean air. The cabin is very comfortable and suited our needs very well, with a comfortable living room and a spacious kitchen. Yet in spite of being off the beaten path, it's quite close to the restaurants in Gualala, Cooks Beach (recommended), and walks along the bluff overlooking the ocean. I'd definitely come back!

We’ve enjoyed this home a lot ! Very private spacious ! Surrounded by beautiful forest! Kitchen is fully stuffed ! Beds comfortable ! Close to beach and town. Home has a very warm feel ! Would love to come back !

Great private forested location with easy access. Large kitchen and dining area and comfortable living room. Lots of windows to enjoy the redwoods. The wood burning stove kept us plenty warm.

Wonderful Property

I love this place. Beautiful views out every window. So quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would ever need to prepare meals. The owners were easy to communicate with. I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful retreat in the woods!

Absolutely beautiful property!! Very private. Well built cabin with wrap around porch. Updated kitchen with new appliances. We reserved this place for a long weekend with family and friends in June. Only source of heat was wood burning stove. Decor is a bit dated especially lighting and no covering in windows which was great during daylight but not so good at night. Needed more towels. Very peaceful serene environment!!

Great location and super close to the beach!

Overall the rental exactly as described, however no working BBQ even though we asked renter prior to going. Also main oven didn’t heat so if your renting don’t count on baking anything. 4 beds were really convenient but well used. Awesome that pets are welcome!

Meadow Vista

This place is well preserved and shows a lot of love put into the grounds. We did notice that the dryer was not hooked up to the gas line and the exhaust was not working as well. Kind of a big deal if you have a family Maybe that can be repaire easily as we want to bring our Family up next time. Beauty out every window, peace and quiet and plenty of room to roam.. AWESOME STAY

There was no kindling, newspaper or fire starters provided and nothing in the listing said we needed to bring those items. Some firewood was provided by the wood burning stove but not enough for 3 days during the winter. The listing said there was firewood in the shed by the stove but it was empty. The ax was dull and couldn’t cut wood.Many of the lightbulbs were burned out including the majority of the overhead lightsThe interior was clean but the deck had lots of bird poop on the tables (gross) and floor that had not been cleaned up, in fact a tablecloth was put on top of one that already had poop on it!
