Welcome to The Brickworks, set in the Historic 1896 Building in beautiful Kaslo, British Columbia. Built in the year 1896 from bricks made in Kaslo, this nearly 130 year old building has been fully modernized and updated to provide a vacation home experience like no other.

The Crow`s Nest, located on the first floor of the 1896 Building on the alley-side, features a beautiful open floor plan. As you walk through the front door, you`ll enter the full kitchen with an island to enjoy your meals. You`ll then flow into the cozy living room which includes a sofa bed. Down the hall, the bedroom has a queen bed and a large closet for storing your luggage. Your bathroom has everything you need with a spacious shower and a stacked washer and dryer.

For the winter, Kaslo is in the heart of epic cat skiing and heli skiing. Check the Guide for links to the local companies.

The adventurist will find no lack of activities in the summer between boating, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, etc.

You can also make Kaslo your home base for dirt bike riding, adventure riding and cruising. The Kootenays are a motorcyclist paradise.

We stayed in the ground floor suite. It was perfect for my mothers accessibilities issues. Close to everything and a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed playing games in the grassy courtyard. The property was wonderful. We stayed for 2 nights with our kids and the space was beautiful. The kitchen was one of the best supplied that we have encountered while travelling. Would highly recommend!

We were in town for hockey and decided to stay here. The sofa bed was especially comfortable, the apartment was very clean and the layout, furnishings, and kitchen ware were all very thoughtful and of good quality. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful apartment and very central in Kaslo. Check-in was a breeze. Even though it’s a central location, it was quiet and peaceful with the beach just across the street. Perfect location and great apartment.

You never know what you’re really booking & wonder if the pictures, description & reviews are honest. This place was amazing. Everything was perfect. It was super clean, quiet, comfy.The location is so central, we enjoyed a few days of not driving at all & walked everywhere in town. It was very nice to have a proper kitchen as we made breakfast & coffee each morning, & I made supper most nights, we saved a lot of money not eating at restaurants every meal. We have already decided that this will be a place we return to next year & hope to stay even longer. It was so nice to come into the suite after a day wandering around & have it be so nice & cool. The outside temps were in the low 30’s each day so being comfortable at night to sleep was very relaxing. Can’t wait to book again & will encourage friends & family to stay here.

The home was very comfortable and the host was prompt at answering any concerns we had. I would recommend it. The only concern was that we could hear the guest above us walking and the children running and jumping. I would advise that the families be placed on the lower level instead of above.
