This is a spacious 2000+ sq. ft. property located near south end. It is about 5 blocks to the Back River beach and pier and also within walking distance to Tybee's main beach, pier and pavilion. Palms on Fifth is a great property for friend or family groups needing separate spaces and looking for comfort and convenience. Come enjoy Palms on Fifth for shopping and dining on the south end, a quiet sunrise beach walk or a equally relaxing sunset stroll along the Back River. Dog-friendly and ideally located, it offers the best of Tybee Island!

The main living level of the home on 2nd floor has a very spacious living area with lots of comfy seating and a flat screen TV. The eat-in kitchen includes seating for 4 with additional seating for 6 on enclosed sun porch. Formal dining area with seating for 8.

This main level has 2 bedrooms. The primary bedroom on this level offers guests a king-size bed, flat screen TV and attached bath with tub and shower combo.

The 2nd bedroom on this level has 2 queen beds, flat screen TV and a half bath.

On the ground level of Palms on Fifth, there is another primary bedroom suite with king-size bed, flat screen TV and attached full bathroom with tub and shower combo. Also on this level is another living space with futon sofa and large flat-screen TV and mini-fridge.

As this home is elevated, the area below the home consists of a covered screened porch complete with rocking chairs and dartboard to enjoy! Washer and dryer also located in this area.

The fenced-in backyard offers both privacy and a safe space for dogs. Accessible from the upstairs deck balcony, it features a horseshoes pit, croquet and cornhole games - perfect for families or groups to enjoy some outdoor fun together!

Palms on Fifth is located on a quiet street on Tybee this is an amazing setting for a relaxing getaway. Bring or rent bikes; Tybee is the best place to explore on a bike!

Another Great Trip to Tybee

Great location. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our visit. House has a great air fryer and Keurig. Lots of space inside. One thing to note is that the second master is either accessible from tiny spiral stairs or going through the screen porch that requires locking/ unlocking doors. We had planned for our older family member to stay in the lower bedroom but the spiral stairs were too difficult and door locks more complicated. We just pivoted and had him stay upstairs and share a shower. Hosts were responsive with ?’s.

We were blessed to find the “Mermaids” about 10 years ago and we will never use any other rental company on Tybee.Every rental is unique and immaculate! Palms on Fifth is our new favorite!Great location, well stocked and LOTS of room for family and friends as well as fur babies! The beds and linens were amazing- so comfortable!We are already planning to stay at the Palms on Fifth next year!Thank you Mermaids for your awesome hospitality! You ladies are the best!!

If you het the opportunity to stay with Mermaid Cottages you are lucky! We had Lisa and Ashleigh who cleaned the house before arrival and they definitely paid attention to detail. The location was quite and at the same time walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We will definitely return.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay. The privacy fenced in backyard was great for our dogs. Located close to the beach. It’s a well maintained home exactly as described. The owners were great to work with. Easy check in/out instructions. My only complaint is the beds are very firm (which other people may enjoy) and the screen door didn’t lock. I do recommend this house if you’re wanting to stay in Tybee.
