Great location and right on the path to the gondola! Beds are comfortable. King bed makes it a little tight in that room but nice to have a big bed.

The property was really clean and very well stocked. It accommodated our family of 7 really well. We love the pool/hot tub area. We don’t have anything negative about the place we stayed in. There was construction going on in the into next door, which made for loud mornings but that was not the property owners fault. Overall we were very pleased.

Thank you for staying at Phoenix 221. Glad the unit was clean, well stocked, and accommodated your family of seven — and that you enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Sorry about the nearby construction noise; we appreciate you noting it wasn’t the property’s fault. We appreciate the kind review and would love to host you again.

Phoenix 221 was a lovely unit in a fabulous location on the mountain. There were a few concerns on arrival, which related to no air-conditioning in the main bedroom, which was listed on the description, and the living room blinds were not operational. But the Retreatia staff was very responsive and made attempts to correct the issues. The unit was very clean and well appointed! We would stay again!

Thank you for your review. I’m glad Phoenix 221’s location, cleanliness, and amenities worked well for you. I’m sorry the lack of air conditioning in the main bedroom made things uncomfortable — the listing does note that, but I apologize it affected your stay. I’m also sorry the living-room blinds weren’t operational. I’m glad our team was responsive and worked to address these items; we’ll follow up to repair the blinds and review how we present the AC information so expectations are clearer. We appreciate the feedback and would welcome the chance to host you again.

The blinds over the back door are broken. The dishwasher is missing wheels on one side and smells like it needs cleaned. We found some old dried meat on the floor behind one of the beds. Otherwise, the place was clean and worked well for our needs. We loved how close it was to skiing. Maybe consider teflon pans and more dish soap.

Great Location and Quality Accomodations

It was a great location just minutes from the base of Steamboat. The free shuttle service anywhere around town was a great feature as well. I wish I would have had clearer instructions on check-in and know who to access for basic questions. The information provided was mostly Retreatia numbers but they immediately directed me to the front desk of the property which was confusing. Also our ceiling started leaking significantly in the kitchen ceiling which forced us to go out to eat. There was also not great responsiveness when looking for help on an urgent issue. That put a damper on the weekend but otherwise great stay!

Thank you for your honest and detailed feedback! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the location and took advantage of the convenient shuttle service. That said, we sincerely apologize for the confusion around check-in and for the leak issue during your stay—especially the delayed response during an urgent situation. That’s certainly not the experience we aim to provide, and we’ll be reviewing this with our team to improve both communication and responsiveness. We appreciate you still making the most of your trip and hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide a smoother experience next time!
