Our family loved our stay in this cozy cabin. It was clean and comfortable, with more than enough space for all of us. We're already hoping for a return stay next winter!

Kirkwood Gem

Beautiful property for your ski getaway. We have had stayed at Kirkwood for 5 years and this was our favorite property to date! Spacious living room and bedrooms. Easy access to a free shuttle that takes you to the mountain. We definitely be staying again!

This cabin was great. It's only half a mile to Kirkwood lifts. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, the kitchen well stocked with pots and pans and lot's of plates and glasses and cutlery. Enough to host a large family. Also, the place was very clean. Wifi - fast. The host was super friendly and responsive, his instructions clear and checkin easy. We had a fabulous time.

This cabin was amazing! Location couldn't be better for skiing Kirkwood. The layout felt spacious and private. Three full bedrooms downstairs plus the bonus room upstairs was a nice surprise. Bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The heated floors downstairs were luxurious and the wood stove made the upstairs so cozy - don't underestimate it or you'll be sweating! Also, it was very generous of our hosts to let us use the snow gear - I really enjoyed snowshoeing after the lifts closed for high wind. Will definitely return!

Owner did not provide check-in information, and could not be reached by myself or VRBO. I have yet to hear back so hopefully everything is okay but either way a trip I had booked 5 months in advance had to be canceled due to non reponse. Thankfully VRBO was very helpful in rebooking but we had to relocate to South Lake due to unavailability at Kirkwood at last minute.

The host was friendly and responsive, and had a well organized check-in. In general, the cabin is what you would expect: older accommodations primarily for use after a long day of skiing. The master room is advertised as having a king bed and it did not. It is either a double or a queen. This is important and should be updated. There are no top sheets to the beds, which we all thought was odd. I also would have appreciated a new, clean sponge for the dishes. The refrigerator was smaller than normal. It fit our group of fives’ food for three days, but would have been tight for longer. The downstairs heated floors were lovely and there is plenty of room for all your ski gear.The Shuttle was great and will pick you up at the top of the court. Kirkwood is a fun ski resort and we enjoyed our trip and coming home to the wood-burning stove, which was nice and hot!
