Beautiful, quiet property just a stone’s throw from Hawk Mountain Sanctuary! Tara was an amazing, communicative host, and we would absolutely return next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend The Hawk’s Nest!

We enjoyed our stay and found everything was as listed. Very well maintained, and an easy house to navigate. Very well stocked with everything you can think of and nice furnishings.

It was comfortable for 5 of us and convenient to family in the area. We loved the soft fluffy towels! We didn’t cook much but found all we needed. The welcome basket, coffee and filters was much appreciated, especially since a store is not nearby.

Great house in great location. The entire experience could not have been easier or better. If you are looking for a nice place if you’re visiting the area, do not hesitate. Extremely convenient to Hawk Mountain sanctuary. Walmart about 15 minutes away if you need provisions. We couldn’t have been happier.

This house is a gem situated very close to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. I highly recommend for a nature retreat or getaway from city life. We can’t wait to come back!

The place was lovely, clean, and spacious enough for our family of four to spread out. Check in was super easy. The location was so close to the Hawk mountain visitor center, which was very convenient. We would for sure go back.

This is a great place to stay! That's a nice house, simple and very clean. Tara was a great host. She communicates really well and was very friendly. I would definitely consider staying here again. Everything worked well and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with cooking utensils.

We loved the Hawk’s Nest. We stayed here for a birding trip to Hawk Mountain and the location was perfect. Clean, comfortable and in a tranquil, wooded setting. We enjoyed watching the deer and birding right in the yard. Will stay here again if we are lucky enough to return!

We had everything we needed, including an arrival basket with useful items, and the owner was very helpful and responsive. The bath towels were high quality and items in the kitchen were new.

Easy check-in. Owners are flexible and organized. It is in a beautiful location and the house is top notch and decorated wonderfully. It is spotless, has all the amenities you need, from welcome basket to extra nightlights and flashlights. Detailed instructions for everything. Would stay again!

Such a beautiful home and property. It was spotless and the host went above and beyond making us feel right at home with extra touches helping us with our stay. They provide EVERYTHING you need for a stay away from home. 11 out of 10! The owners have done an amazing job from decor to entertainment extras (we loved the foosball and little indoor putting) and the fire pit outside. Communication was excellent. Will be staying again when we come back to visit family.

This property was great for our stay. The kitchen was one of the best for the amount and quality of china, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. The wifi was great and the tvs in the bedrooms were a plus. Check in was easy. The host responded qyickly to any questions. Although the location was definitely rural, access to resturants, gas, and groceries was only 15 mins away.

This property its Beautiful and peaceful

Travel for my niece wedding from P.R.This property made us feel like home as soon we open the door. So Beautiful and definitely what we need. The play room was definitely a big plus. But the best part was Natural. The outside was so quiete . We got to see deer and other animal. Toke a walk out forest. The kids was so excited to be able to see any animal. We got to see this Beautiful butterfly. We got snacks Cofe sugar water left for us..And the Comunicacion was Great always answer all my Question. We enjoy every second on this Home. Do i recommend 200% yes.... you wont regret staying hereThe bed was super comtable. The bathroom Well to resume Everything . WE WAS MAKE THE HAPPY TO STAY HERE... Definitely. Bird Heaven

We stayed at this property specifically because of its proximity to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary - a very short trip down the road to the sanctuary gates. It was more than we hoped for. The house itself is spacious and lovely; Tara left not only an assortment of snacks and treats, but also some delightful samples of lotion, soaps, and shampoo and conditioner from a local lavender farm (what a heavenly smell!). The backyard of this house was unbelievable - as a group of bird nerds in the area for spring migration, we were thrilled to wake to a lively chorus of warblers, cardinals, jays, finches, sparrows, and other songbirds. An eastern towhee even visited us this morning; he poked around the grass and sang to us from a few feet away. In the evenings we saw deer and the resident chipmunk, and even a red squirrel! The house check in and check out processes were super clear and easy. Tara was responsive and checked in to make sure all was well, and made recommendations when we needed them. 10/10, would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place in the mountains. Snacks and waters when we arrived. Fully stocked kitchen, quality linens/towels, comfortable beds and a short distance to Hawk Mountain sanctuary trails. 15 min drive to local restaurants (food was excellent). Tara answered questions promptly and checkout process was simple. We will def be back. It was a great family trip.
