Located on the scenic backcountry byway, this newly remodeled cabin is just minutes away from Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge State Park, Hollerwood(no trailering needed) & more! Relax on the front porch while sipping your morning coffee. Gather around the firepit & relax with loved ones Escape after a day of exploring or just soaking in natures beauty!
The Mountain Laurel is furnished and equipped to make your stay comfortable and provide the feeling of being in a rural mountain home.
The cabin is fully equipped with all the essential items to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Amenities include fully equipped kitchen, walk-in shower, retro-style turntable and vinyl, covered front and side porch, gas grill, picnic table, fire pit, and more. We provide complimentary bath soap, instant oatmeal, tea bags, sweeteners and more. Guests are invited to hike the property.

Cozy and Clean

We had a great time! The property was much better than we expected. It was very clean, the hosts provided everything we would need and more, with firewood, a beautiful fire pit, record player, grill, and more. The cabin itself seems new. We felt safe and comfortable. The hosts were also easy to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely alcome back and recommend to friends!

Hey there! I am a small town girl that leads a simple life. I value time spent with family, friends and my fur babies(3 King Charles Cavaliers) more than anything materialistic. I'll never look back wishing I had more "stuff", rather wishing I had more "time" with those I love. I believe in being a "doer" and not a "dreamer". You've got this one life to live....so stop making excuses and make it happen! My favorite quote - "An unused life is an early death".

Red River Gorge has something to offer everyone. Whether exploring its mysterious Gorge Underground kayaking experience, ziplining through the Daniel Boone National Forest or visiting Hollerwood for off-roading adventures, one can enjoy an adrenaline-filled day!
The RRG has an abundance of hiking trails to enjoy taking you to sites such as Gray's Arch, Courthouse Rock and Natural Bridge just to name a few.
The Gateway to the Gorge welcomes you with our unique shopping establishments, great dining options and breathtaking views!

Guests have full access to The Deer Run and are invited to hike the private 10 acres. A map showing the property acreage is located in the Guest Book inside the cabin.
We are on the backcountry byway and minutes from a trail leading to Hollerwood!
