This was an amazing find! The cabin looked brand new and everything was so clean and the secluded. The little welcome baskets were a great touch. We arrived after a U of I football game, ready to relax and this was great for 2 couples. We didnt have much time to look around the area, but my husband and myself are ready to book it again for the late fall to do some hiking and relaxing. Highly recommend staying here!

This place is absolutely beautiful! The rustic decor pairs well with the wooded setting. It's adequately equipped with everything you need. It's very clean and well kept. I asked a favor of a 1 hour earlier check in time and Sam was gracious enough to give us check in 3 hours earlier. I just can't say enough nice things. Definitely top notch!

Just there for an early May weekend visiting family so didn’t get to make use of the beautiful setting. Would definitely go back. Master BR doesn’t have a true shower (tub and handheld) but lower BR does. Little baskets of some treats for each guest was a nice touch.

The cabin was really peaceful and beautiful inside and out, nicely done. Bed was comfy and shower was hot. Upstairs was really nice, felt like you were in a treehouse with all the windows. We got to see about 10 dear that come right across the driveway, heard lots of birds, owl and woodpecker. We recommend for dinner Filippo's Pizza & Italian Food-(go early) food was great! We will come back for sure!

We had a great experience at this lovely cabin. The cabin was cozy and the exterior area secluded and beautiful. Our host was easy to communicate with when needed and very helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the property more but we were in for a quick visit with family. We will keep this in mind for future visits.
