My family and I truly enjoyed everything about our stay from the Retro vibe to the laid back environment outside with the hot tub. The house is equip with will all the essentials and then some. Highly recommend for families of all ages.

The home was amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. The pool is the best and nicest we have used. Pool is large and deep. Plenty of room to play. Its hard to see how great it is from the pictures. Very clean. Home is super clean and kept up nicely. We come to florida almost once a year. And this has been by far the nicest property we have stayed. We had a pool issue our second day in the home and joel, the owner, was amazing and had it fixed almost right away and even found us an alternate pool to swim in for the day that we couldn't use it. He was able to fix pool right away!!! Would totally stay here again!!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The retro vibe and decor really helped add to the vacation vibe. We really appreciated the convenience to the Universal parks. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a great overall experience with this property. It was a very convenient location. The owner provided immediate responses to any inquiries before/during/after our stay. The descriptions/photos of the property were all very accurate. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area, and the Tiki Bar was outstanding. Nice access to kayaks and paddle board. We would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the Orlando area.

Joel’s home has everything you need. Very comfortable, clean and appointed with all amenities. I would strongly recommend this property to visitors in the Orlando area.

We had such a fantastic stay at this retro-vibe home! The decor was super cool and gave the whole place a fun, unique energy. The house had everything we needed—plenty of space for our group, a great pool to relax by, and even kayaks for a little adventure. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel extra welcoming. The location was perfect for heading to the parks, which we did, but it was also nice just hanging out at the house and enjoying the amenities. Everyone in our group loved it—highly recommend if you’re looking for a spot that’s both relaxing and full of things to do!

The place was very homey, and clean. We loved the hot tub and pool very much, our little ones had a blast. They had items for them to play with in the pool as well as life jackets, water toys etc. as a mother I really appreciate this very much. My son love them. Anytime we had a question, it was always answered quickly, communication was great.

Amazing house and host

This house was fantastic. It was decorated in a very 50s retro style and even included a coffee syrup bar! The host was very responsive and left a welcome basket for us on our arrival. It's about 30 minutes from Disney and 15 from universal. It was perfect for my teens because they each had their own room. I will definitely stay here again if I find myself in Orlando.

In Orlando for an Event at the Convention Center- so 6 NY hairdressers needed a place to stay. This property did not disappoint. I was extremely pleased with the location- it’s easy to get to where you need to go. This house was clean and exactly how it’s described. It’s roomy and well proportioned-so myself and 5 other girls had plenty of room to get ready for the Fla night life . The pool area is great- it was clean and space enough to enjoy sun/fun time. At night it looks pretty….This house has lots of extras as in games and things to do for fun while you hang in -if so desired. The neighborhood is quiet and very friendly- the fire pit area is great too.There was everything you need at your fingertips at Retro waterfront-including bathroom essentials-things you may have forgotten are there for you. Your host Joel is top notch for a reason, he was exactly what you should have when you’re renting a place that you know nothing about. Joel was always quick to answer any concerns I had about anything I needed to know -prior to our arrival. When we were at the property- he was even more wonderful -including stopping by to drop off an extra Keurig for all of us . We absolutely loved everything about this experience and we will definitely and happily recommend this to all. Joel we hope to be back next year for the show and stay at your space. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts -for EVERYTHING -we had the best time/experience

Orlando family vacation

Three of my kids from out of state flew in to watch my youngest graduate from high school. I wanted a fun place that was still close by to bring us together and allow us to spend time with each other while enjoying ourselves. This home provided the perfect environment for what I had envisioned! Joel was super attentive and helpful! We laughed, played, made memories and became a closer family over the last four days in the house. Eternally grateful for this opportunity.

In one of the master bathrooms, the 2nd piece of the glass shower door was missing. The one burner didn't work on the stove. There were very few pots to cook with. The grill was disgusting. The swimming pool floor was damaged, we were scraping our feet on the cement that was coming off of it. My 2 year old grandson found a used tissue under the couch! There was a pile of disgusting dirty towels piled up in the back of the master bathroom closet! When I messaged the owner to inform him of the issues, his exact words were...."I'm sorry you're experiencing these issues! The last bathroom glass door broke during the last booking and the replacement door is ordered! I am completely unaware of a burner not working! I will have to schedule an appliance repair tech for the next vacancy. The shower is completely functional and more like a European style where it's partially open. Feel free to put any extra mats or towels down for the water. The previous guests really wrecked the house. The concrete chipped in the pool last booking likely from a guest jumping in with a chair. I had the pool company come out and vacuum up all the pieces. More must have chipped up."I did not like being talked to in that manner at all. And he never offered a discount or tried to make it right.

Thank you for your feedback, Kristy. We want future guests to have a clear and honest picture. Every issue reported to us was acknowledged and addressed promptly and professionally. The shower panel was ordered before your arrival following prior guest damage, and the existing door covers the shower plenty. The pool company was dispatched during your stay to address debris, but the surface chips are a cosmetic issue that did not affect enjoyment. A fix takes time to schedule and also requires draining the pool. The single stove burner (out of 5) was unknown to us prior to your arrival and we sincerely apologized. Appliances break between inspections. The dirty towels and grill condition were never communicated to us during your stay. We fully stock the property with grill tools, grill cleaning supplies, and pots and pans, but housekeeping doesn’t clean the outdoor grill. Had any of these been reported, we would have responded immediately though. Discounts and refunds are appropriate when issues prevent guests from enjoying a property. Every concern brought to us received an immediate response, honest communication, and real action. This property has earned numerous 5-star reviews from guests who loved the lake, dock, kayaks, tiki bar, and everything this home offers. We are proud of that track record. We also want to be transparent that this guest appeared frustrated from the start when we were unable to accommodate an early check-in request.
