It is a great location for a family looking for access to many activities. The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated to fit the Adirondack location. We had a great stay!

The home is beautiful and was the perfect getaway for three couples. We had everything we needed during a very snowy and cold winter vacation.

Simply wonderful experience! Absolutely loved the Sunny Brook cottage at the Whiteface Club property. The cabin was warm, comfortable, and offered my family and I an incredibly fun time over the holidays. Perfect for fun dinners, big fires, cozy sleeping, and much more. Can only imagine the property during Spring/Summer time! Lastly, the owner’s of the Sunny Brook and rental agency team were incredibly kind and accommodating! Highly recommend!

Adirondack beauty

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a warm cozy winter cabin in the Adirondacks look no further. Enchanting space taken right out of a movie set. Absolutely beautiful. As a guest you want for nothing. Every detail thought out. Recommend this rental to anyone who wants a winter paradise getaway!

Amazing in Every Way!

This place doesn't dissapoint!Although it is located near other homes, it feels very private and isolated. The interior and exterior both have an amazing woodsy vibe and the entire place feels like someone cares about it rather than the sterile unloved energy I've come to expect from most vacation rentals.The check in/out process was seamless and the host couldn't have been more accommodating.Do yourself a favor and rent this place. You won't be sorry!

Wonderful Sunnybrook Cottage - We have been coming to this magical house for perhaps 15-20 years. It is marvelous - a true escape from the hustle & bustle of city life. The Adirondak decor is sumptuous. A perfect getaway. - Our only caveat is that we have gotten older (oh no!), the somewhat rugged stairs going down to the house were a challenge, especially carrying luggage. - But other than that, check-in was easy, the host agency people were most helpful, and we were so glad to be back! - R & J

Location @ the Whiteface Golf Resort was excellent, the cabin was historic and had a unique restoration, the information about the property was educational. Overall I would recommend the Sunnybrook Cottage, however, the drawbacks are: the single bathroom mattress was very uncomfortable. There was no kindling available for the fire place. If you wanted to shave kindling the wood was available, thought that it should have been prepared. Lack of instruction re: Stove. Lack of detergent for the dishwasher.

Rustic Elegance

Our multi-generational family stay at Sunnybrook Cottage was a huge success despite this being the coldest winter in Lake Placid since 1994! While there is excellent wi-fi, this cottage invites everyone to disconnect from the modern world and revel in the pleasures of board/card games, outdoor activities, and cozying up with hot-chocolate and s'mores in front of the fantastic fireplace.The cottage is a wonderful glimpse of another era when rustic log cabins were turned into upscale "camps" for New York society. The living space, bedrooms, and baths are exactly as pictured and very comfortable. The kitchen is compact, but effortlessly accommodated several cooks working together to turn out great meals. The only caveat to note is that only enough firewood for the first evening's fire is provided with the rental, (a reasonable arrangement) but the nearby Stewart's convenience store sells large bundles of wood at a fair price.
