Very nice place off the beaten path, but close enough to drive to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Frankfort, etc…. Lots of activities and attractions within a short drive and this is a perfect centralized location. House was clean, the A/C was on and check in was very easy. Would definitely stay here again.

The hot tub was a nice feature, even if it was older model. The fire pit looked like it would be nice, although we did not use it. It was a lovely property in a convenient location.

Enjoyed the hot tub and the house. My only suggestion is an upgraded couch because it is quite uncomfortable. Otherwise we had an excellent stay and appreciated the communication with the property owner.

The house and property were very clean and well taken care of. Thoughtful additions like shower kits that were such a nice touch. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

The house and property were absolutely gorgeous. Everything was clean and well presented upon our arrival. It's far enough away from everything to give you the sense of privacy while still being a short drive from population and attractions. It was the perfect blend of up north coziness with modern amenities and we'd love to stay here again.

The property was amazing and as pictured/described. Check-in and communication were top-notch - great job!We’re frequent travelers to Northern Michigan with our family for marathons - often staying in higher-end rentals in the Shanty Creek area with similar cost per night that are much larger and provide more than the bare minimum of essentials.Beyond the accurate pictures and description the value was not there. There were no towels included for the hot tub, which was not part of the guidebook. I found that out after inquiring via message in hopes of not ruining the limited amount of towels provided for daily bathing use with nasty spa chemicals. In addition to the lack of towels, MINIMAL (tiny boxes of hotel samples) of the bare essentials were provided. A total of 2 tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap to name a few. We had 5 guests, multiple ran a marathon and trained the day before. Beyond the sub-par essentials, the badgering texts/emails/Vrbo messages regarding early check-in and check-out fees cheapened the experience. The additional and aggressive marketing seemed like a cash grab and likely misrepresented the owners of this property who likely entrusted __ to manage their property. Additionally, following the check out instructions, I realized I had to take out the trash before checking out. The trash can was nowhere to be found. After walking the entire property, I found it overturned in the ditch by the road, which I returned.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Hot tub was great, house was cozy and peaceful. We were disappointed though to arrive and find that the fireplace that was advertised in the listing is not available for guest use. It was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here (that and the hot tub!). The host was great about responding promptly when we asked, but it was a little frustrating that it was prominently advertised in the listing and then we found out when we arrived that we couldn't use it.

Everything was as decribed we enjoyed the privacy of the property. We were there for an open house for a family member so it worked perfectly for those of us traveling from down state.
