Truly a hideaway . Beautiful property - Beds were comfortable, house had all we needed. A lot of space to walk dogs around. Deck in back is great for outdoor seating and viewing quiet surroundings. Spiders are everywhere outside and that’s where they stayed.

A perfect stay!

This was an amazing clean house in the woods a perfect place to get away but you are still so close to so many things! If you don’t want to leave there are still so many things to do! Such a great place and the host was responsive and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect!

We stayed here with family to visit our daughter at Ouachita. It’s about 15 minutes from campus in a beautiful wooded setting. We will definitely stay here again! Some improvements to make the property even better…seating on the deck to be able to enjoy it, window coverings (none throughout the house), and hangers in the closet to be able to hang up a few things.

Stunning private property!

This house is so private and surrounded by a beautiful forest! House suited our needs for a weekend stay. I believe it is being updated and what they have done is great! Nothing affected our stay! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property. Lots of room! Would stay here again

The photos did not do it justice. This place is a hidden gem close to Degray lake! Property is amazing Pictures need to be updated. One thing they need to get the WiFi fixed for the guest to access.

Thank you for your kind review! We love it there too. It’s such a peaceful place to stay. Close to the lake and Arkadelphia. We are working on the Internet, facing a few challenges, but we will get it done and we will update the pictures. Thank you for your feedback.

Beautiful property with lots of potential! Surrounded by lots of tall trees, nature and a pond for fishing on site. Plenty of space for the family, inside and out. The owner was very responsive. Improvements needed: The oven does not work. This needs to be added to the listing until it's repaired so guests can properly plan for meals. There was a lot of food in the fridge which left very little space to store our food. Window coverings are needed on the bedroom and bathroom for privacy. Seating would be nice on the large outdoor patio. Lots of spider webs around the front door and windows. Safety railing is needed outside the front door due to a very high drop off. Overall we had a very nice stay!

We have family members who live close by, so it was great to be able to get together with them and spend a day on the lake. We loved the isolation of the home, but also found it to be convenient to some business as well as the lake. My son and grandson loved the pond and the surroundings are beautiful. We had seven total staying at the house. My grandson brought an air mattress to sleep on and there was plenty of room for everyone. After a day on the lake, the rest of the family came over for dinner. So we had a total of 20 for dinner and games in the evening. The kitchen is missing some items, so bring what you need for cooking. We heated up frozen pasta dishes, but didn't have potholders to take it out of the oven. It would also be nice to have something to cover the windows in the master bath. Over all we had a great time, and would rent this home again.
