We stayed at this home for a long weekend gathering with friends, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The property was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.What truly set this rental apart was the host's outstanding communication. From the time we booked until our departure, the host was responsive, proactive, and made sure we were well informed about all of the home's amenities and features. Everything was clearly explained, which made our arrival and stay completely stress-free.The owners have obviously put a great deal of thought into creating a welcoming experience. From the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable gathering spaces, every detail contributed to an enjoyable weekend with friends. The home was exactly as described, if not better, and provided the perfect setting for making lasting memories.We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, thoughtfully appointed home with a host who truly cares about their guests' experience. Five stars all around!

The kitchen was very well appointed, all major appliances and many extras included. Two coffee stations. The property was fabulous with plenty of things to explore and the hosts were extremely friendly and very accommodating. This is a quiet rustic property great for large family gatherings. I can't say enough positive things about the whole experience.

It was a beautiful home in a beautiful place. It took me back to my childhood. I felt like I was back for a visit at my grandma's house. The hosts had thought of everything, even for the youngest in our group. Very family friendly

This gorgeous farmhouse is immaculate and the hosts have thought of everything. I cannot think of one thing they didn’t do from the chargers next to all the beds to the full bags of ice and fresh eggs in the fridge and freezer. It is an experience to stay here. The interior design is beautiful. We stayed here for my son’s VT graduation. Highly recommend!

We loved the farm. My wife and I hosted my mother, another couple (friends) from out of town, and our son (a VMI Cadet). We all loved our time there. We cooked, grilled, sipped coffee by the fire pit, watched the chickens, admired the cows, and just stared across the most bucolic hills you've ever seen. I didn't want to leave. I don't think anyone did.We've rented many short term rentals in the last 20 yrs and many in the last two years. Rarely does an owner demonstrate the attention to detail and care for the guests that this owner does. I've seen very nice homes fail to provide a great experience due to lack of attention, poor maintenance, and a general failure to imagine how it will be experienced by short term guests. These folks nailed it. From my college-age son to my octogenarian mother, no one was disappointed. The house itself is rambling, fascinating, rich with character, and begging to be explored. We found another full bedroom suite after I, and four other adults, had already explored the house. I look forward to going back. The drive to VMI is longer than we normally take on for a weekend visit, but in the end I was grateful we stayed at the farm. It was a bright spot in what was already a excellent long weekend. Thank you, hosts! I genuinely appreciate all you did (in advance) to provide such a wonderful experience--thus allowing me to provide that to my guests. Bless you.

**An Absolutely Wonderful Stay! **This was the most well-appointed home I have ever stayed in! From the moment I walked through the door, the hospitality flowed like a river. The farmhouse has such unique charm and character, while still being clean, comfortable, and spacious. Everything you could possibly need was thoughtfully provided—from a well-stocked kitchen pantry to plenty of linens and supplies.The bonus farm-fresh goodies were such a special touch and absolutely delicious! They were perfect for our family gathering as we came together to celebrate our son’s wedding. Having such a beautiful and welcoming place to stay made our time together even more meaningful.Our host communicated so well and consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her thoughtfulness, generosity, and genuine hospitality truly made us feel at home.This is a wonderful place to relax, gather with family and friends, celebrate a holiday, or enjoy a special event. This was a truly 10/10 stay for us. Absolutely stunning house and views. Nothing beat drinking coffee on the front porch with a view of rolling hills and cows. The host was extremely helpful and generous. We hope to come back in the future for another amazing trip.

Incredible, and the vie

We had an amazing stay, this home goes above and beyond to meet all your needs, many before you even know what you need! The home is gorgeous, with space for everyone to sleep, relax, eat and enjoy the view. We loved sitting in all the porches and enjoying the views, usually with a freshly brewed coffee or tea. We stayed here for our son’s VMI graduation, and I would recommend this location to anyone with an event in the area.

Our stay was short but absolutely wonderful! We could tell that every detail in the house was well thought out. There were so many bedrooms and bathrooms so we all had plenty of space. We had an abundance of soft towels and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and more! We will be looking for a reason to go back to the area just to stay there again

What a treasure of a place! The house was perfect for our family of 11 with plenty of space for everyone! We enjoyed dinner and games around the massive kitchen table before relaxing around the firepit and taking in the peace of country living. At any given time, you would find someone on one of the 4 porches, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Angie was an amazing host, with thoughtful touches everywhere! It was hard to leave this oasis but we know we'll be back!!!
