This lake house was beautiful and perfect for our large family! The kitchen was very well stocked! The beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in as far as a rental or hotel! It was very clean! The host was in contact all week! We had a wonderful experience all the way around!

Wonderful time at a beautiful location. Right on the lake. Map showing how to drive to the lake was helpful. Glad it was pet friendly along with family friendly. Rooms were clean. Fantastic time and stay.

We had the best time celebrating 4th of July at this beautiful property! There was plenty of space for our family to spread out and relax. The walk down to the lake is steep but there is an access road that we could drive a vehicle down to the boat with the coolers. Also, the tankless water heater was an added bonus so nobody in our party of 11 had to take a cold shower at the end of a long day at the lake :). We will definitely book this property again.

Excellent Lake Experience

Our party of 8 had a spectacular time during our week long stay. The photos of the property did not disappoint, as the home is clean and beautiful. The host provides lots of conveniences with the home to make your stay easy and comfortable. The host is also very responsive and wants to ensure your have a great stay. We are already planning our trip next year!

The house was exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. Everyone liked the beds a lot. The host was great with communication and even went out of their way to provide a wheelchair ramp for us at the front two steps. The driveway was a tricky place to turn around a boat trailer but there is a place within the gated neighborhood to drop a trailer.

4th of July

We had a great weekend with family here! The house is gorgeous and so clean. Plenty of room to spread out or be together. They have everything you need for cooking and all of the other household essentials. That was impressive. We rented a boat for two days and the lake is amazing! When we turned the boat in, we enjoyed a day of swimming off the dock- not too much boat traffic on this part of the lake! Host was very easy to communicate with. The gated community was a pleasant surprise and felt very safe! 10/10 we would definitely stay here again!

This was our third year in a row of vacationing at Douglas Lake. It was by far our favorite home! The trek down to the lake is definitely steep but having the ability to drive down via the access road was awesome. The home was spotless, and I admit that we have high standards . So many fun games provided and a huge surprise to have the water trampoline! A wind storm took the kayaks down & one was found floating a half mile away and one got poked when it hit a support beam on the dock. Luckily my hubby is a body man so he did a good patch job on it and it’s lake ready again. The home is super well stocked with anything you need. High probability we come back next year! Pet friendly is A!!
