This place is so cute! It's clean and well stocked. All the appliances are new. The lanai is private and shaded. Shopping, restaurants and gas are all just a minute drive away but you feel further removed. There is a bin full of beach necessities; chairs, boogie boards, noodles and more. Management was fantastic from start to finish. We didn't use the pool but walked by. It has plenty of lounge chairs and is well cared for.

The place was okay, just be aware there are some bugs, I did some research that said it's common for properties in Hawaii. Just make sure the fan above the bed is on, I missed that one evening and got several bites. The hosts responsiveness was not great either and she was incredibly difficult to get a hold of at first. The way the building was designed makes for a very hot sleep, the ceiling fans are poor quality, the door locks are also sketchy. Hair dryer was missing and took two days to get without any compensation offered. I wouldn't recommend it or stay here again.

As noted, Hawaii’s tropical environment can occasionally mean insects despite regular pest control, but I understand how frustrating that can be and we’ll continue to address it proactively. Regarding communication, I’m concerned to hear you felt it was difficult to reach me, as I did respond to several of your questions during your stay and I personally purchased and hand-delivered a blow dryer to you as soon as I was made aware one was missing. That said, I never want a guest to feel unsupported, and I’ll be reviewing our messaging process to ensure responses are consistently fast and clear from the start. We also appreciate your comments about the heat, fans, and door lock—those are helpful notes, and we’ll be evaluating what improvements and upgrades can be made for guest comfort and peace of mind.

Better than the Photos

Great location in Keauhou, quiet area, well appointed, comfortable King bed, updated kitchen, beautiful setting. When the dishwasher broke, they had a new one installed the same day. Most impressive. The only issue I have and often an issue at every VRBO, is the cookware. Owners buy the non stick yucky chemical coated pots and pans I assume for easy cleaning. Yet they are often scratched leaching unhealthy chemical into the food. Can we please go back to stainless and provide a good stainless scratch pad? We appreciated the use of fans to cool rather than air conditioning in Hawaii. Thank you. Love to return.
