We really enjoyed our stay here! Our family needed a little get away and this house felt like home away from home. A great place to relax! It was clean, cozy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

Host was responsive. Home was clean, comfortable and kitchen was fully equipped. Went for a girls weekend and all 4 of us enjoyed our stay! Only a few minute drive to get to downtown Paulsbo.

We enjoyed a long weekend with family and this was the perfect place to stay. The house is clean and spacious and gives everyone enough room to not feel on top of one another. The views out the living and dining rooms are captivating and so relaxing. One member of our family is in wheelchair and was able to maneuver everywhere easily with the exception of the bathrooms. Luckily he is able to walk a few steps so that was not an issue for him. The location can’t be beat with easy access to Poulsbo and Silverdale for shopping and dining. The Bainbridge ferry is a short drive away for city fun in Seattle or head west for a day in the mountains. We highly recommend this house for anyone wanting a restful and relaxing getaway.

We stayed in Poulsbo for three nights to help with our son's wedding at Kiana Lodge. The property was in a good location, with access to Poulsbo and the surrounding area. The house and property are clean and well kept. There was a nice vase of flowers waiting for us, which made us feel welcome and at home. Melissa was a great host, and she communicated very well, with timely responses to our questions.We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, clean, spacious home (it is a duplex). Plenty of room for gathering. Great view at this remodeled property. The doors and windows stick a bit, so it can be loud when people are moving around at night. Bathroom has a funny location at the back of the house. No shower or tub in the master bedroom suite. Plenty of parking, easy to find. Overall, a great place for your large group.

Hi Lori. We love our home and our glad that you enjoyed it too for the one night you were in town. We do make it clear that we are a 1.5 bathroom home before booking so I'm sorry that that did not work for you but other than that we hope you enjoyed the wonderful locations and views from our home. Our all-adult family truly enjoyed our stay at Melissa’s place while visiting from out of state for a family wedding in Port Gamble. The home was very clean, comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. Putting 2 & 2 together, we noticed that Melissa must be an artist and there were tasteful evidences of her art in strategic places in the home; nice touch. Poulsbo is very handy nearby and has a lot of wonderful things to see & do; delightful. The kitchen was adequately supplied with everything we needed, though the coffee maker was low caliber compared to the quality of everything else, and there were only 5 coffee cups for our 7 guests. On the downside in the kitchen, though the cupboards are nicely labeled as to where things go, all the upper shelves were so high that we had difficulty reaching some of the plates, glasses & other things. With a reservation for 7 people, I wish I had paid closer attention to the VRBO listing that showed that it had only 1 shower. (Not Melissa’s fault; she advertised it correctly, but I overlooked the detail.) That made things a little tricky for getting 7 people ready for a wedding, especially when the shower water pressure was a bit weak making showers a little longer than usual. We also did not have enough bath towels for all 7 guests, so we had to share.Our negatives are minor compared to the beautiful quality of this home. We had a great time while there and would definitely stay there again. Overall, 9 out of 10 rating.

Hi Charles! Thank you for your thoughtful and thorough review. We are so glad you liked the house and noticed how intentional we are with the details. I appreciate your feedback on a few items in particular. Regarding the coffee maker, it’s a coincidence you mentioned that because right after your visit we did a big rehaul and update. The coffee maker is now a top of the line SMEG drip coffee machine that makes yummy coffee. Unfortunately, I wish I could add bathrooms but we did fix the water pressure in the home so it is now nice and strong. Also, the cupboards are standard height so we don’t get that feedback normally but there is a stool in the laundry room for my shorter guests just in case. Lastly, our house comfortably sleeps 6. 7 is definitely not ideal and a rarity for us. My cleaner must have missed that there were additional guests but to avoid that we have 8 guest towels in the cabinet by the bathroom for the future. Thank you for staying with us. We hope you’ll consider us for your next trip to Poulsbo.

Walking in my first impression was of luxury and space. The home is beautifully decorated. The bedrooms were like a luxury hotel. A spacious foyer with an ample window seat opened onto a room with a day bed, a tv and a comfortable chair with ottoman. The main opening was to the kitchen and the huge living room with one of the largest couches I’ve ever sat on and the pretty dining room that looked out over the water. The best view was at the dining room table where we ate and put together a lovely puzzle we found in the hallway. Binoculars were provided. Two seats sat on a small terrace outside the dining room had a lovely view. The beds were extremely comfortable. We plan on staying again the next time we visit charming Poulsbo!

This home was clean and beautiful! From the moment we walked in we were in awe of the space and felt totally relaxed and peaceful! Every room was welcoming and decorated beautifully. The light filled gorgeous dining room with breathtaking views made all our meals so joyful. The host Melissa was very quick to respond with any questions. A great experience exploring surrounding area, and the quaint downtown. 5 stars for this property! Will definitely return.
