Good: The property was very nice and peaceful. It looked just like the photos. The grounds were well kept and the amenities were nice as well. Bad: Our unit was dirty. The door knobs were sticky. There were several sticky spots on the floor along with crumbs that had not been cleaned. The coffee pot was dirty. The Kuerig had old standing water in it. We were told to start the dishwasher when we left, but there was only an empty tub of DW pods. The laundry room was gross. There was hair in the washer. The dryer filter hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. There were random items thrown all over the laundry room- old mirror, scrap plastic, mops, empty laundry detergent with lid off, etc. It seemed like no one even cleaned/bothered to check things before our arrival. The secondary bedroom closet had random old quilts, blanket and pillows in a messy pile on the floor. There were food/blood stains on the secondary bedroom wall. You get the point. Just not the level of clean I would expect for a property being managed by on site property management or paying almost 400/night. I don’t think this is the owner’s fault, but hope they are aware.Other complaints: Only given 1 set of towels per guest, front door lock does not allow you to deadbolt when you leave & doesn’t seem secure. It’s just a small bottom lock and actually says “vacant” when you leave the unit. The front desk staff was far from welcoming.I have been a respected Realtor for 27 years and we travel a lot.
