This place is truly a sanctuary for beauty and the senses. A hidden corner that feels like discovering a secret, a little adventure where something as remarkable as slowing down, breathing, and perhaps getting to know yourself a little better can happen.Some beautiful places you visit and remember. Others somehow leave something within you. This is one of those places.But among the nature, the serenity, the cabin, and every thoughtful detail, we discovered there was a fifth element that brought everything to life: Hugo.His hospitality, attentiveness, and genuine way of making you feel welcome transform an extraordinary place into an experience that photographs simply cannot capture.Hugo is that hidden fifth element that makes this little sanctuary feel almost like a miracle.Thank you, Hugo, for allowing us to discover it.

This was by far the worst we've ever rented! The pictures online are very, very misleading, they are from the previous owner from several years ago. The new owner has not taken care of the place. The grounds was overgrown, flower beds full of weeds, bird bath broken and covered with mold, grill and picnic table covered with mold, the screen on the cabin were green, the room had a funky smell, etc. The room was warm but the thermostat was not located in the room for us to control, he had control of it. I sat out on the balcony at night with the porch light on to read and it went out so I went to turn back on and realized it was on a timer and I couldn't turn back on. The dock on the lake across the street was unsafe to walk on, the dirt underneath it had washed away and nails were sticking up everywhere. He advertised bikes and canoes but that was not the case. Everything about the place was completely false advertisement. I put a claim in with the BBB but of course he did not reply to anything but I'm not done yet, it was false advertisement and he should not get away with this. There is absolutely no way the good reviews are legit! Don't waste your money!!
