Water views to die for! Come and unwind in the sand in the backyard of this lovely house. This beautiful cottage is going to give the most comfortable and quaint coastal experience on the eastern shore! Read your favorite book in the sunroom while listening to the sounds of the ocean, or enjoy the firepit in your private sandy backyard. You'll find everything you need in our well-stocked kitchen, And with three bedrooms including a queen, full, and twin beds, guests can enjoy a serene stay in this excellent property. (Bedrooms located on the second floor.) Towels, soap, shampoo, toilet papers, linens - all are provided. Complete with heating, AC and WiFi, this lovely home also features two bathrooms with showers. And the best part? There is a bonus detached bedroom/office with a half-bathroom for extra space! So kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Norfolk and our house has to offer!

This rental is as described a short walk to a private beach. Provided by the owner was anything you could possibly need for the beach and the house was well stocked. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a great stay and would rent again.

We loved our stay! The house was well-equipped with tons of little details thought out (from good quality beach chairs and umbrellas provided to a kitchen with spices, oils, Tupperware, etc). Host communication was excellent and the home was clean and exceeded our expectations from the pictures. Checkout was not arduous. Highly recommend especially for other families with small kids!

This is a very charming property. We stayed here while attending our son’s graduation at a nearby university, so we didn’t have much time to fully enjoy all the amenities or the beach. That said, we really appreciated watching the sunrise and taking relaxing walks along the shore.

The house was conveniently located right on the beach. It was fully stocked with everything you would need. You don’t have to bring any beach chairs, towels, or boogie boards it’s all supplied at the house. The house was cozy and clean, the host was easy to communicate with. It was conveniently located amongst multiple restaurant choices. We loved everything about our stay.

Host was very helpful and accommodating. Checking in/out was smooth. There is an odor when you enter. You do get used to it but if you’re sensitive like I am probably not the place for you. House was very cute, loved access to the beach, but it is right on the main road ( made us nervous with a young child) and parking for only 2 cars. Overall a good experience.

House was as expected. Sun room was great with a partially obstructed view of the bay. My husband enjoyed watching the ships go by. My sister and I went on daily walks on the beach. Host was very quick to respond (within minutes).

We absolutely LOVED this place. The house is decorated so nicely, and so very well stocked. You won't need for a thing while there. The beach access is phenomenal yet feels so private. Upon leaving I was already searching for available dates to come back. 10 out of 10!

We chose this neighborhood for our beachfront property because it offers the perfect blend of convenience, tranquility, and accessibility. Just a short drive from Richmond and only 10 minutes from the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel, it provides easy access while still feeling like a private retreat.

The quiet, uncrowded beach is one of the area’s best-kept secrets—safe, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing by the water. Yet, despite its serenity, you're never far from great dining, outdoor activities, and local attractions, all just a short drive away. It’s the best of both worlds—a private escape with plenty to explore nearby!
