We absolutely loved our stay. The condo was clean and functional. The amenities were great. The view of the fireworks for the 4th of July could not be beat. We had a great time!!

Fully stocked kitchen and great views

Very clean and comfortable property with a stocked kitchen. The pools are very nice and beach access is very convenient. The binoculars and viewing lenses were a great addition. We enjoyed people and animal watching from the balcony. The property was clean and had everything you would need to enjoy your beach stay. We highly recommend this property and will return if we visit Dauphin Island in the future.

Best location

Perfect location with amazing ocean view and large balcony. Gated parking garage with immediate access to bike path. Condo is updated, spotless and beautifully furnished. Kitchen is well-equipped. Facilities are clean and staff are friendly and very helpful.

Great condo. Super clean and nice.

The island no very few restaurants and only 2 open during the “ off season”. Bring your own food because there is none on the island. The condo itself is very nice and the property is great. Clean beach with white sand.

Actually there are 3 restaurants across the street within 1/8 mile of the condo. We ain't Gulf Shores or Orange Beach!! No stoplights on the island!!

Wonderful!

The weather didn’t cooperate but we still had a great time at Dauphin Island! The condo was well-stocked and very clean. We appreciated the beach umbrella and chairs. The view is amazing and we enjoyed using the telescopes and binoculars too. We hope to be back soon!!

Always perfect

There is a reason this is my second stay at John’s condo, it’s always perfect. I love this little island. If you enjoy a slower pace without the crowd this is your island and John is your host. He is always super easy to contact if you have a question. Highly recommend

Great family vacation

Our trip was amazing had lots of fun at beach and pool a lot of good food places. Walk is little farther then I expected from pictures. But was worth it. Condo was very well stocked with everything you would need. Getting ahold of the owner was very easy as well. Will book here again when we go back to dauphin island in a few years.

Wonderful Christmas getaway!

Property is exactly as described. Comfortable, well-appointed, beautiful views! 1st time on Dauphin Island and loved the laid-back and relaxing vibes. Had a small issue of smoke alarm low battery beeping in bedroom, but owner was quick to send someone to change it "after hours." A great experience during a very cold snap in Lower Alabama.

The unit was extremely clean and the most well stocked I have ever stayed in. That amenities at the property were amazing. We had double red flags the first few days so we really enjoyed the pools, hot tub and wet sauna. They also have a dry sauna. And for those that are more motivated than I there’s an awesome workout room that overlooks the ocean. The master bedroom has a Jacuzzi tub and doors that open up onto the balcony. The balcony overlooks the ocean and it’s a beautiful view.Our host was great. The communication was amazing and they did great job taking care of us. They have equipment for birdwatching and a bunch of different books in the unit that my mom really enjoyed looking through. If you’re looking for a perfect unit for your family vacation, this is it, book it you won’t regret it! Did I mention this is catty corner from an ice cream shop called pelican nest RV resort?! The Pirates treasure is amazing. I really should’ve checked out that workout room. Haha If you wanna have an amazing vacation, this is the place to stay! We can’t wait to come back.

Great uncrowded relaxing trip

The condo was great and was stocked with just about anything you’d need for your trip (both kitchen wise and beach wise). There are plenty of sand toys and things of that nature for kids (we had a 6 year old and 1 year old with us), a high chair, pack n play, games, ample seating on the huge balcony. If you’re looking for a comfortable spot in a relaxing location then this is it. The beach is definitely a bit of a walk, especially in the heat, but I recommend bringing an umbrella to shade yourself (especially with little ones) and it’s not that bad. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again without a doubt!

Great place

This is our 4th year spending summer vacation at Holiday Isle on Dauphin Island and the first time in this particular unit. The guidebook we were sent had some new information that we hadn’t known before. There was a storm in the Gulf that caused the beaches to be closed for rip tides and high seas. And the telescopes the owner had on the property were a nice diversion to look out on the ocean. We will definitely consider again if the unit is available as this was our 4th year vacationing at Dauphin Island and we do it each year.

Prefect Condo!

We were so impressed with this condo. This was our first to the island, so we weren't sure what to expect. John goes out of his way to make sure condo is fully stocked with things you might have forgotten. There is plenty of towels and linen, cooking utensils and dishes, books to read, plenty of room in condo. Check in was so easy. John does a excellent job of communicating if you need anything. One last thing the view is amazing! One of the best views I've had from a condo balcony(which by the way is HUGE)!

Tv didn’t work in bedrooms and reported them and owner did nothing

Liked stay but nothing open and nothing to do in the area. So tried to watch tv and owner said tvs didn’t work in bedrooms because they needed ruko remotes and didn’t have them

1. Re Complaint re TV's: We are in the process of removing TV's from bedrooms. 2.. Re Complaint re nothing to do in the winter: Dauphin Island ain't Orange Beach or Gulf Shores. No stoplights. Enjoy nature in a sublime setting.

The king bed is very firm and pillows are flat so I recommend bringing your own pillows. The other 2 rooms were good. Lots and lots of books in every cabinet. Bathroom drawers had lots of stuff in them already. It was pretty well equipped with spices and seasonings. My husband loved using the binoculars to check out the oil rigs. The place was nice overall just had a lot of stuff. And watch for separate email (not from Vrbo) for check in instructions.

Beautiful property. Stocked with everything you could possibly want and everything you could have possibly forgotten at home! 6 minute easy walk to beach. Loved it. Host is very helpful.
