We absolutely LOVED our 4th of July family trip! All the comforts of home and so much more! Private and easy to access for our busy schedule! Have to say, sitting in the hot tub under the night stars atop a mountain was breathtaking! Simply perfection!

Had an amazing stay, unfortunately the property i booked had a power outage and I was contacted to choose another location under hummingbird-cabins, the one I choose was higher in price but was not charged the difference. The place in Alto was amazing, fed deer every day, wild horses roaming through the yard, beautiful views!!!!!!!!!! Will look into that one specifically next time!!!!!!!!

The property is beautiful. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Hot tub was wonderful. It was a little crazy to find at night but once we did all was good. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again.

The stay was amazing! Had everything we could need! A small cat did spend an entire day trying to get into the house but the kids did have a blast playing with it outside!

Yes the reviews about the smell of smoke is true, nothing that cannot be tolerated. Yes, once you reach the dirt road (gravel driveway) it is up. Would've liked checking out at 11am. However, I really enjoyed the stay; the kitchen had the necessary items for cooking.

Loved it!

Perfect for us. Spacious 3 BR 2 bath. Over looking the Downs Stables. We had complete privacy enjoying the hot tub off the front porch deck. The home is beautiful and so comfortable. We appreciate the ease of booking and check out. Will definitely book this home next trip.

The home was very nice and updated! Everything was great except the home smelled of cigarette smoke. It is listed as non-smoking and we did not expect it to smell of smoke. They tried to fix it around day 3 by putting charcoal in the home, but unfortunately that didn't eliminate the smell. Other than this we had a nice stay.

Dishes were dirty on arrival, had to hand clean before using.Instructions gave us wrong code for lock. we had to call 3 different numbers, wait outside for 30 minutes, and when we had someone on the phone it still took 5 minutes to get the correct passcode. !!!!!Smelled like cigarettes in the house. This is a no smoking listing. when we walked onto the porch we could smell it and when we opened the front door, four of us got nauseous or had a headache from that scent. The pillows smelled the couch smelled the towels smelled. !!!!!!!Nail in couch sticking out of the back, I rested against the couch and it stabbed my heelRandom pack of gum in bedroom, 1/2 eaten and looked like it came from the bottom of a book bag Rotten avocado in the fridge Some chairs have loose wheels, this caused one fall and multiple scaresLots of noticeable dust and cobwebs

We had our first experience that was so bad that we had to review in this manner. We understand things break, stuff is missing but this took the cake. We arrived for Father’s Day weekend and while upon arrival we were excited! As soon as we entered the home the smell of smoke hits you. While I don’t mind smokers I definitely did not like the towels smelling like smoke, the sheets, and pillows. The smell was in the home and no amount of cleaning would remove it from the walls. There were many spiders which we were ok with. I am a coffee drinker and expected to be able to enjoy the view with a cup of coffee. Nope coffee pot did not work. So we notified hummingbird of the smoke smell and coffee pot. There was a hole in the bathroom and I sent them a photo of it for their reference. I was not pleased with waking up and my hair smelling like I left a metal concert. I let them know how dissatisfied I was. How did they respond you ask. By commenting, “give me a break” and linked my personal home in the comment. They looked me up, found my home and posted it. Was it supposed to scare me? No but it was an invasion of our privacy. VRBO allows Hummingbird to be a 3rd party and this is how they treat their guests. I waited long enough for them to make this right. Haven’t heard back yet. So I am sharing our experience so you don’t have to deal with what we did.
