The property was fabulous. Is just what we look for. Central seclusion. Meaning its location is central enough to the attractions to make an excellent home base. It’s secluded and private so you’re not in the crowds.

Great location to stay when visiting Iceland

The property was amazing, clean, central for our travels around the Golden Circle, Seljalandfoss, Skógafoss and black beaches in Vik. Views from the property were spectacular!

The apartment has a perfect location for visiting the Golden circle. Everything you need is in Selfloss, a town 15min away by car. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful nature. Perfect for a longer stay.

Great location and brand new!

Brand new cabin (configured like a studio apartment) with comfortable king bed, washer/dryer and full refrigerator. Perfect location for day trips on the Golden Circle and along the coast to Vik and beyond. Literally a 10-min walk from the Kerid Crater. Strong WiFi was a nice plus.

Perfect location on Golden Circle. This cabin provides a relaxing getaway from the city. Super quiet, except for the interesting bird sounds! My husband and 6 year old stayed here - very comfortable bed / sofa and terrific amenities for a 6 night stay. Kerid Crater is within walking distance (tip: try the soup truck!).We highly recommend this cabin and host!

This one-room cottage had everything that we needed for our short stay, and the hosts were quick to respond to messages. It's a great location just outside of Selfoss with a wonderful view. We did wish that the curtains were a little darker for blocking out that midnight sun, but we were able to block them out ourselves with some aluminum foil.

Iceland in July

Kerengi Cottage is a beautiful very modern tiny home. Beautifully constructed, and everything to make your stay smooth and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful - he built the cottage [and the main house himself]. We stayed 5 nights - family of 3. Cooked in the house for most of our meals, and slept peacefully in the quiet countryside location. There are excellent blinds to keep the cottage dark in the limited summer night, and a beautiful deck on which to enjoy a morning coffee. There is the benefit of a washer and drier in the suite too. The location is very central to the Golden Circle.

This property was in the perfect location for someone who wants to get outside of the city but be close enough to go back if you want. Also the perfect location for traveling around Iceland. It’s super clean place and the host made it easy to check in and out of. The host was super helpful and made everything super easy. I would 100% stay here again if I went back to Iceland.

Nice single room apartment. Would be better for a pair than a family, but the couch is a pull-out and laundry was a huge bonus for us. Location was excellent. Not far from Selfoss and right on the golden circle. We walked to Kerid crater.

We had a wonderful stay at Kerengi cottage! It was very clean, beautiful scenery and a great central location to many places we visited in Iceland. Our host was amazing, so helpful and accommodated us asking to check in early. We had access to laundry, dishwasher, stove, all amenities. The bed and pull out couch were comfortable and clean as well. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Iceland!
