You cannot beat the view of from this cabin. We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing, the view from each floor is breathtaking. It is so quiet and peaceful. Will definitely be coming back for future visits.

The kitchen is in dire need of enough good cooking and baking pans and appropriate utensils to successfully cook a meal. We managed, but with many compromises and some food cold by the time the rest was finished. There also needs to be some more dish towels and some dishcloths. Other than the kitchen, the cabin was VERY VERY nice!!.

After your review, we inspected the cabin and completed a full inventory of the kitchen. We found that there were 5 baking sheets, 6 pans, 7 skillets and pots, and over 23 cooking utensils available in the kitchen during your stay. We also reached out to you twice for more specific feedback about what you felt was missing or could be improved, but unfortunately didn't hear back. Had you given us the opportunity to address any concerns during your stay, we would have been happy to help. We strive to always provide a 5-star experience at Serenity and continually look for ways to improve for future guests. We absolutely loved this place. The decks provide a great place to relax and enjoy the amazing views. The living room has comfortable couches and beautiful large windows.

This house had the most amazing views. The house was beautiful and the host was extremely responsive. The only downside was the second level bedroom was hot - but we were there in the height of the summer. The roads getting up to the house were well paved, although steep. I would stay here again for sure!

I’m so glad you enjoyed the cabin and the beautiful views! We’d love to welcome you back again. Regarding the second-floor bedroom, after your stay, we discovered that a piece of furniture had been blocking one vent, and two others had been closed. We reopened them, adjusted the furniture, and added helpful signage at the thermostat. Since then, the HVAC has kept the home evenly comfortable throughout.

The views were amazing!! Cabin was great for the most part just had some minor things that need addressing. One of the stair lights at the top of the stairs was blown. Every morning their was tiny black bugs on the bathroom sinks in all the bathrooms. Second floor was very warm, it had no AC air flow to that bedroom, while the first floor bedroom was freezing most of the time. The second floor bathrooms toilet wanted to flush by itself, occasionally. Like it had a slow leak. The first floor shower has a small crack in the bottom of the tub and has a weak spot in the center of the tub. Felt like your foot could go through it at anytime. The cabin also has some very large spiders, especially on the second and third floor balconies. Despite these little issues we had a great time and would definitely stay there again. After all it was our little piece of Serenity! Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Thank you for sharing your experience at Serenity! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the amazing views and that the cabin provided “your little piece of Serenity.” It looks like you got some great photos! While we wish we’d known about the maintenance items during your stay so we could have addressed them right away, we’ve since taken action to fix them. We have replaced the accent light at the top of the stairs as well as completed a full house-wide lightbulb inspection. We have added informative signage next to the thermostats to ensure guests are able to balance temperatures using both the 1st floor and 3rd floor thermostats. We have fully replaced and repaired the damaged floor of the bathtub. We have reviewed pest control practices and increased the frequency of visits from our treatment company. Thank you for staying with us and we look forward to welcoming you back to make more memories at "your little piece of Serenity"!

The views are a WOW! Needed a place to get away...perfect. Didn't leave once I was content hot tubbing and just watching the view. Great place to do some soul searching. The home was nice had plenty of supplies, felt like home.

We have stayed in several places over our years of travel but my grown kids said this was their favorite cabin we have ever stayed in. It was beautiful, clean, well stocked with supplies and Kyle was very prompt and helpful in his responses. It made our time with our adult kids so enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Serenity! The architecture of the house was really cool and there were amazing views from every room in the cabin. Our favorite spot was the daybed swing on the top balcony…just magical! The kitchen had everything we needed, but there wasn’t any salt, pepper, plastic wrap, aluminum foil or coffee filters. It’s appreciated when those items are provided. The second and third levels got a little warm at times, but not uncomfortable. The first level deck had a heavy duty gate that blocked the steps down to the driveway. We brought our dog, so it was nice knowing that we could let her out on the deck without her being able to escape. It also made us feel a little safer knowing that animals wouldn’t be able to just walk up the steps onto the deck. We saw a mamma bear and her 3 cubs at least 4 days while we were there. The momma and one cub even got in our car, SO LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS! She just opened the door like she had done it a million times before and hopped right in! Luckily no damage, just a really muddy car! Made for one of our most memorable trips ever LOL! Our favorite outings were to Parrot Mountain, Kuwohi/Clingmans Dome, Ripley’s Aquarium, and the Great Smokey Arts & Crafts Community Loop. We have been renting vacation homes for 20 years and have never stayed in the same house twice, but we would totally come back to Serenity! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!
