We had a great weekend in Sackets Harbor. The home was very convenient for the marathon and the restaurants in Sackets Harbor. The house was clean and comfortable. It had everything that we needed. The backyard area was very large and our family loved the chickens. We would definitely stay there again.

This property was older but extremely well taken care of!! From the comfortable sleeping arrangements to the fact that there is no cell reception everything was wonderful!!! It was in the right position to see our whole family. I will definitely be using this property again.

The house is close to downtown Sackets - so easy in and out. Kathleen is an excellent; checking on us to make sure things were ok. The house is a ranch and very easy to move around in even with 6 adults. Would definitely return.

We really had a lovely stay! Both Kathleen and Paul were extremely helpful and kind to us. Some reviews mention the chickens; don't let that dissuade you from this property at all. They are quiet. Even the roosters were well-behaved. It really is a lovely area to visit. One word of note: Google maps will tell you the property is on S. Broad St in Sackets Harbor and it isn't. Use the parking directions the hosts provide.

My brothers and I rented the home as a place to crash while spending a few days cleaning out our mother’s house. We were delighted becasue it was far more than a place to crash. The property is better than described- everything was immaculate and comfortable from the beautiful bathrooms to the beds and A/C. The snacks and coffee, creamer were greatly appreciated. Kathleen and her husband were super responsive and helpful both pre-check in and during our stay.

Fabulous home away from home. The hosts are very attentive and just across the street. Paul was over every day to take. Care of the chickens and very respectful of our privacy. Definitely recommend!

Cute & Cozy in Sackets Harbor....

This 3 bedroom & 2 bath ranch house is located in a cute neighborhood just outside the charming coastal town of Sackets Harbor. It was conveniently located to get to Sackets Harbor Restaurants & Coffee shop, but also Watertown & Thousand Island attractions & restaurants. The owners left us a welcome snack basket, nice touch. We enjoyed sitting outside for morning coffee & evening cocktails on either the front patio or back deck. It was cute, comfy & cozy!

Perfect stay in Sackets Harbor

This house is absolutely perfect for a family wanting a getaway in the quaint town of Sackets Harbor. Upon arrival, the house was perfectly clean and the AC was on. The wonderful hosts left a basket of snacks that my teens loved. The beds very comfortable, the linens were fresh and clean. And best of all we had a chance to meet our wonderful host in person. Paul is the nicest man- we got to spend some time chatting and he even let us feed his chickens treats, which we all loved! It was an amazing week at this beautiful house in Sackets Harbor. We hope to visit again next year!

Lovely home very close to Sacketts Harbor downtown area. We stayed for the marathon and it was very convenient. Quiet neighborhood. Has some issues with check in and hosts were very responsive. The welcome snack basket was a nice touch! Good amount of dishware and cookware. Pictures and descriptions of house are accurate, except there is a chicken coop in the back corner of the yard - including roosters. We did not need an alarm to get up for the race.

Overall, we were very pleased with this property and even though this was not a newer home, it was very well maintained and a good value. The house was clean, the property owners were excellent in communicating, and nothing was lacking for a comfortable stay. I might suggest a review with VRBO's map view of the property. It gives the impression that the location is in the heart of Sackets Harbor and within walking distance to restaurants and the harbor. In reality, the property is located in very nice neighborhood just on the outskirts of Sackets Harbor, and most people would take a vehicle to reach the downtown area. I do not believe this was an intentional misrepresentation, just a computer generalization of the location.

Home was very clean and well equipped. This is a ranch home, with bedrooms on side of the house and the kitchen and living room on the other side. There is a not shoes request, and plenty of space in the mudroom entrance for shoes, jackets, coolers etc. The 3 bedrooms worked out well for 6 adults and one child. It’s about 2 miles from the Sacketts Harbor town center. Kathleen and very responsive and we enjoyed our stay

Just got home from a wonderful week of fishing Ontario/St Lawrence and we could not be happier with our accommodations. Paul and Kathleen have a great 3 bedroom rancher, that has room in the driveway for two trucks with boats hooked up, located close to various boat ramps on the lake, in the river, and various bays. The communication prior to and during our stay was great. We even got a dozen fresh eggs from Paul. The house was equipped with everything you need, and even included some extra goodies on the counter upon arrival. Honestly the best part was the location, its on a quiet street that makes you feel like you are in the middle of no where, but everything you could need, including a major shopping area with a Verizon store if your phone ends up at the bottom of the St Lawrence, is just minutes away.
