Love, Love, Love this place!

Our stay could not have been better. This house has everything you need to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The decor is incredible and beds are comfortable. It’s hard to list everything that is great about this house. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I am already looking for dates to bring my family back.

This was a charming property in a unique setting, very quiet and serene. The layout and design of the cottage was great, however it appeared to be neglected. The outside porches were covered in leaves and the furniture was too dirty to sit on and enjoy, lots of cobwebs outside and some inside as well. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean, though the rest of the interior could use a deep clean and refresh. The property manager was easy to get in touch with and arrived promptly to blow off the leaves and empty the outside garbage cans. Aside from those things, we enjoyed our stay.

Great spot

The decor and finishing touches look as good as the photos—there's just a lot of thoughtful finished and a high quality feel that is hard to find in a rental property like this. It's cozy, quiet, and the porch is a nice place to relax too. Showers are hot with good pressure. Bed was cozy. The property is more secluded than many others in the collection of properties nearby, but probably not quite as secluded as the aerial photo suggested. The nearest house is like 50 yards away. That said, we had very little if any noise from neighbors, especially while enjoying the hot tub in the back of the house. We would love to return with friends and take advantage of the space. This property is super close to the gorgeous hiking at Fiery Gizzard North Trailhead, as well as all kinds of basics from nearby stores. We hope to return sooner than later and take advantage of the wood stove on the porch for a winter visit.

What a gorgeous home. A whole living area outside on the deck. It was like we were in a tree house. We could hear the serene sounds of the creek down below. Beautifully decorated. Ate dinner every night out on the deck....no bugs! We were 4 adults and 4 kids 8-17 and all of us just loved this home. We have a lot of experience staying in home rentals in the US and Europe....this one was special.

Perfect Weekend in a Perfect Place!

I've stayed at several properties at the different Retreat communities, and this one is by far my favorite. The decor is gorgeous, the outdoor space was perfect (we spent most of Friday and Saturday afternoon lounging by the pellet stove, reading and napping), the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfy. I'll definitely be booking this property again!

The coziest place we have stayed at Retreat Vacations.

We had a fantastic time in Sleepy Hollow. It was exactly what we were looking for. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and porch swing. The sound of the brook below us with the woods all around was so serene and calming. We loved it and will be back!

Just what we needed

We loved our stay at Sleepy Hollow. It is such a charming cabin, and the covered porch was so relaxing. We were looking for a place to get away for some peace and quiet, and this place delivered. My kids (6 and 7) came with us and loved it too. The hot tub was great! Temp was good and jets were strong. The cabin is in a gated community but felt private. The cookware is limited, but the restaurants we tried were really good so when we return we likely will not plan on cooking. It is so close to Fiery Grizzard State Park, which had a beautiful trail and swim spot a little over half a mile down the trail. We cannot wait to return!

Lovely cabin with fantastic wrap around porch

Very cozy and cute with a chic woodsy aesthetic. Perfect for a small family - will definitely bring my kids back. Comfortable beds and feels spacious inside despite being a “tiny home.” Super fun hot tub as a bonus! Gorgeous views!

Perfect weekend getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at Sleepy Hollow. The house is gorgeous and perfectly detailed. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, firepit, and the porch stove. It was so quiet and peaceful, all we wanted to do was stay on the property. The beds were comfy and everything we could need was provided. We came into town to catch a show at The Caverns, which was a short drive away. Mountain Goat Market was also a favorite of ours in town. We definitely plan to come again in the future!

Relaxing and peaceful

Beautiful area and home. The house was clean, tidy and inviting. Outdoor areas are well maintained and very relaxing. Highly recommend to anyone needing a relaxing reset. Will definitely be returning.

Couldn’t ask for a more relaxing place to get away!

From the cozy living space to the hot tub to the incredible back porch, this was the perfect place to simply relax and take in nature. We watch an owl hunt, deer pass through and was surrounded by the sounds of birds and a flowing stream. We will absolutely be coming back at least annually.

the most charming cabin in one of our favorite places to visit - absolutely recommend!

Thank you for such a great stay at sleepy hollow. We come to this area often, and I typically love trying out new tiny homes within the retreattn communities - However, after this stay, I can't imagine booking anywhere else. The level of detail to the design of this cabin was absolutely incredible. I barely wanted to leave the adorable porch! We loved the hammocks, the hot tub, and the space to spread out a little bit. Before we even checked out, I was already looking at the calendar to book another visit. Highly recommend!

What an enchanting stay!

Our family traveled to this area for a college visit and this was a wonderful spot to unwind and relax while processing the weekend’s events. The house was intentionally curated to bring a sense of calm and relaxation during your stay. The outdoor patio/ area was a dream and we stayed out there for hours. The amenities were as described. It had everything we needed for our stay. We would love to come back and stay longer!

Sleepy Hollow is a charming tiny house with a magnificent porch for outside living. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sleepy Hollow! The beds were comfy, the bathrooms larger and more luxurious than expected (are all tiny house bathrooms this great??), and the kitchen island easily sat six around it to hang out while cooking meals. The cabin technically sleeps eight, and that is what we had initially planned, but we ended up with six of us and I think that was the perfect number of people for the space, unless younger kids are in the mix. The wraparound porch was a favorite feature and a wonderful place to hang out on comfy seating, or eat a meal at the larger outdoor dining room table, or sit and read while listening to the birds and the stream. The only reason I haven’t given five stars is because one of the door knobs to the porch fell off many times when we turned it (separate from the deadbolt, so no worries) and several lightbulbs were burnt out. But this truly is a five star property in every other way!

Beautiful and somewhat remote

Although this cabin was in a neighborhood of cabins, the way it was positioned gave us a beautiful view of the forest! I knew there were other cabins around me but it still felt remote when sitting on the porch and in the hot tub. Absolutely beautiful and extremely comfortable. My husband and I normally never go to the same place twice to keep things interesting but this place was so nice that we are considering staying again next time we are in Tennessee! Thank you for a stunning end to our vacation!!

Everything was clean and we loved the finishings and decor and the overall style of the cabin. The hot tub was clean. We wish it would go above 99 but it was still nice! The only negative was the privacy with the windows and doors. There were no curtains or blinds especially at night would have been nice. We loved it overall and would come again and recommend.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon with this trip. The first night we got back to the cabin ready to start grilling , there was no charcoal so we had to get back out and go to a dollar general to buy it. There also was no complimentary coffee. Even the cheapest motels I've stayed in, have that. When I cooked breakfast the next morning , I also notcied there was no oven mits... So we had to use a hand towel. The drawers in the master bedroom were full of someone else's clothes, so we couldnt use them for our own. When I took a shower , every time I took one, I had at most , 5 minutes of hot water. I found several dirty dishes and utensils and had to wash them before use. We also noticed that when we tried to take the trash out , BOTH garbage cans were full. Overall I was very disappointed in our stay. My husband and I have stayed in cabins, at a fraction of the cost and we were much more satisfied with those stays. At over 350 dollars a night after taxes , it was not worth it at all. With it being our honeymoon it was even more of a disappointment.
