We have stayed at this property for several consecutive years, with the property requiring more maintenance each year. This year there were several property features that were broken upon arrival and needed multiple days to repair (toilet roll holder broken in master bath, fan in the master bedroom not working, furniture inside and outside ripped, several interior light bulbs burned out, etc). During our stay, we lost power for 24 hours, but needed to strongly assert for a refund instead of being appropriately offered one. The location of the property to the beach and pool area have kept us coming back, but the unit needs better looking after for us to return again (especially for the price). Sadly, I think we will look for another unit to rent next year. I’m not sure if the owner(s) are aware of these issues (I have demanded that the management company let me know that the owners are aware, but they will not confirm), but they should be. Rent with caution.

Awesome Vacation!

What an amazing vacation experience! The property is beautiful and the staff is so personable and knowledgable. True Aloha spirit! The sandy beach is safe but still allows for some rolling waves. Best location for a family vacation!

The view from the room was amazing. We were very glad that we booked the first floor level. We could walk directly to the beach. When we got to our room there were a few issues. The 2 twin beds were supposed to be made into a king bed. I called, and I had to show proof that I requested the beds to be changed into king. This just seemed odd to me. There was also a broken chair in the dining area. Overall the furniture was pretty worn and could use an update. Other than that, the resort was nice. Not too busy.

Amazing Villa

We were very impressed with this villa. You cant beat being on the first floor with your own porch and lawn. Walk right out of your room and onto the sand and into the warm Pacific Ocean. The villa was tastefully decorated. The kitchen had a Wolf electric stove and a Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer. Jetted tub in the master bathroom. Blackout shades. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Living room had a nice big-screen tv and each bedroom had its own tv as well. Great internet speeds with no data cap. We plan to return next year and hope to stay in the same room again.

Check-in was easy and staff friendly. The ad for the space was a bit misleading. There is public restroom about 30 yards away on the other side of hedges. Wasn’t bothersome for us, but it’s certainly there. The pool areas weren’t that impressive; photos make them look more expansive than they are. Tons of rules, so not great for kids who want to have fun playing at the pool (ie. No balls or toys allowed, no jumping). Not enough chairs for people staying at the place. Food at the pool bar was not great; just warmed up grab and go food. Drinks were good. View from the unit was beautiful, which is the best thing about the place. Kitchen was well-appointed; beds were comfortable. Bedding was lacking (just sheets and thin blankets). Outdoor furniture is worn and needs replacing and there is only one lounge chair on the lanai, no two like the photos. The indoor furniture also needs replacing (couch and dining table/chairs). Beach across the walking path was very nice. But umbrellas will cost you extra to rent.Overall for what this unit cost, we would’ve rather been at a resort with more amenities, more to do and less rules.

Amazing vacation! Wonderful being able to access the pool and beach quickly. Twice a day koi feeding was enjoyed by young and old. Everything you need is there in the unit.

First, let me say that the highlight of this particular unit is the accessibility to the pool and beach. You arr able to walk right out of the unit through the back patio and across the grass to the pool gate which you’re not able to do on any units above the first floor. We have stayed at these Villas three other times and this was by far the most expensive room we sprung for. Having said that, our previous visit overlooking the pool on the third floor was a better experience because you can still see the ocean from there but you don’t have to deal with the smell of the public bathroom that is just on the other side of the hedges. You cannot see the bathroom in the pictures provided but the smell was nauseous and we kept the patio doors closed most of the time. When we did sit on the patio we had to purchase a candle from a local store to try and mask the smell which didn’t really work. Also, for the cost I would expect everything to be immaculate but the cleaning was subpar and the maintenance of the furniture and the unit itself is lacking. My guess is because this unit is in what appears to be a great location they are constantly able to rent it out and never have any downtime to take care of maintenance. For instance, the patio table is destroyed and peeling, there are cracks in the drywall, there are water mildew stains on the countertops, there are greasy handprints all over the cabinets, we couldn’t use the dishwasher because it was so nasty inside, we had to wash everything by hand and ended up just using paper plates most of the time. The dishes inside the cabinets were not clean. The furniture is all chipped up and gouged up and looks nothing like the pictures. The couch pull out bed had weird black stains on the bottom of the mattress. The fake flowers and plants were dusty and missing pieces probably yanked out by previous guests. All in all, we didn’t let it ruin our a good time but unless someone speaks up and says something I don’t think they will know to take the time to fix it. Who knows, maybe I’m the first to bring this to light. I hope so because if others have told them in the past and they haven’t done anything about it then they are deceiving future renters with their outdated photos.
