My family of 4 stayed for a week. So cute! Walking distance to the beach, a grocery store, ice cream & a restaurant! Comfortable and relaxing! Deane was a great host to check in also. We highly recommend this little getaway!

Check in process was seamless, the entire unit was incredibly decorated and clean, packed with anything you could ever need for a beach vacation. The location is perfect and just a short walk to the beach, shops, some places to eat. The neighborhood is gorgeous, nice and quiet and the neighbors are friendly. This was the perfect place for my family, we enjoyed eating dinner outside and letting our toddler run around the yard. The beds were super comfortable and made this the perfect home away from home. Would definitely love to stay here again!

This property and stay were beyond expectations. This is my family’s fifth year in Matunuck and nothing has compared to this home. Every detail was taken care of. I usually pack an extra storage tote of essentials when renting because the homes are always missing some essential item. Not here! Pack your clothes and just show up, Deane has you covered! 11/10.

he house in Matunuck was absolutely stunning—recently renovated and beautifully designed, it truly feels like something out of a magazine. The location made it even better, sitting right across the street from the beach and just a short walk to great restaurants and activities. Every detail was perfect, and the combination of the home’s quality and the unbeatable location made it worth every dollar and more. I couldn’t be happier with this choice!Mike

This property was an excellent choice. Everything that we needed was there. The living area was comfortable. Although the 2 bedrooms were small, there was plenty of room to unpack in the built in drawers. The attack has a floor mattress and plenty of floor space for air mattresses:sleeping bags . Plenty of kid games. 3 televisions, too, but no local stations that we could figure out. The patio and outdoor shower delightful. The full bar in the shed/little house in the back was well stocked. There were beach chairs, cart,umbrella and outdoor games .

We have stayed at numerous VRBO properties through out the north east over several years and this is one of the best! The accommodations were comfortable and luxurious. The host was very concerned about our comfort and if we were enjoying the property. Any minor issues we encountered were addressed immediately. We wished we could have stayed a few days longer. I would consider returning because we had a good time. I would recommend booking this property for future vacations. Thank you Deane & Todd for everything.Hope to see you next year.

We absolutely loved our stay! The pictures don’t do this house justice. The decor is so inviting and fresh, yet completely comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Deane was the perfect host and very responsive to our inquiries. I asked if there was a French press maker on site and though he informed me there wasn't, he actually went ahead and ordered one and it arrived the next morning. What a wonderful kindness. I'm sure any future guest will love this if they enjoy pressed coffee.Mornings on the patio with French press coffee made our visit the icing on the cake.Overall, the home was exactly as described and met all of our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. Deane was excellent—friendly, responsive, and made the entire process easy from check-in to check-out. We have no complaints at all and would absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommend this wonderful location to anyone looking for a great place to stay! South Kingstown Beach is beautiful and just a 5 minute walk.It was the perfect stay. We honestly didn't want to come home. Thank you Deane for having us as your guests.

Just a short stroll from the beach, it was a true luxury to begin each morning with a peaceful run along the shoreline, followed by days spent enjoying the beauty of the Rhode Island coast.One of the highlights was being able to walk to the wonderful local restaurants and the delightful ice cream shop. Everything about the area felt quintessentially New England, relaxed, welcoming, and full of character.The cottage itself was beautifully maintained, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully appointed with everything needed for a carefree and memorable getaway. Every detail contributed to a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately felt like home.What truly elevated the experience was the outstanding hospitality of the owner. Whenever I had a question, I received a prompt response within minutes. That level of attentiveness and genuine care is rare and made our stay even more enjoyable.This property is a true coastal gem. If you’re looking for an elegant, relaxing beach escape with exceptional accommodations, a perfect walkable location, and a host who genuinely cares about your experience, look no further. We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough and are already looking forward to returning.
