This property is not rented by the owner but instead by Seaside Vacations property rental. I’ve not seen this before on VRBO. It’s a little misleading.

We spent 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The best thing about the place is its location. It has all the conveniences that we were looking for: clean bathrooms, cozy beds, awesome balcony overlooking the ocean, a functional kitchen and living room, easy access to the beach, and proximity to the boardwalk, stores, and restaurants of Duck. We will consider going there again. The only issue was getting to the third floor for our senior family member.

The unit was in a great location with beautiful views on two sides due to it being an end unit. It was well appointed, nicely decorated and very clean. While the top floor location made for great views the only drawback was the many flights of stairs to the unit.

Difficult to carry luggage up 4 flights of stair

The condo was lovely. The Queen bed was not comfortable and the sheets provided were very thin. No ice maker and previous renters did not fill ice trays. The weather was unbearable which was not the fault of the rental agency but we were miserable each time we left and had to climb back. The pool was water was over 90 degrees so it was not usable. We would never stay here again. We left after one night due to the deadly heat and the many flights of stairs we had to climb. We had trip insurance but it would not cover the situation I have described.

We do state in our listing that the unit is located in a building without an elevator, and we always encourage guests to review all listing details carefully to ensure the property meets their needs. Comfortable, Convenient, Relaxing

The unit had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed the living room, balcony and rested well at night. Having two bathrooms is a plus! It is conveniently located for restaurants and access to the beach. We would consider returning! Here are Some recommendations:The thermostat is "hidden." Specific directions for accessing the heat/air thermostat would be helpful for future guests.Opening the sliding doors to the balcony - instructions to remove the Allen Wrench located behind the curtain and at the top of the door would be helpful. The handle to the door was loose and it took a couple of days before we realized there was a wrench and access was not dependent on using the handle. Because the garbage bag fits tightly over the bin, use of the pedal is deemed inoperative. Therefore, using the bin requires lifting the lid manually. That was very annoying and frustrating not to mention unsanitary when preparing meals. It should be replaced with a bin that does not require manual operation. With these tweaks, future stays would be stress free and more enjoyable.
