Enjoy a peaceful stay in this beautifully furnished National Register Historic Home that's centrally located to all the culture and excitement a great city has to offer. Nature buffs can take advantage of an adjacent Greenline walking/biking trail or larger nearby Overton Park & Zoo as well. This well-traveled host with customer service background is committed to making your visit to Memphis as pleasant and memorable as possible. I’ve included a page in the guest folder to area attractions (free and pay) for your consideration. A couple are within walking distance, and near all are easily driven within 25 minutes. This charming property features 2 queen bedrooms, a large clean bathroom with a bathtub, and all the essential amenities like WiFi, AC, and washer/dryer. Nestled in a superb location, guests can unwind in the serene atmosphere after exploring the vibrant city. Enjoy all that Memphis has to offer when you stay at our place.

Time-Traveled Straight into a 1950s Movie Set (And Didn’t Want to Leave) This place isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience. The moment we walked in, it felt like we’d stepped through a time portal and landed somewhere between a 1950s film set and a beautifully curated cultural showcase. The design is bold, intentional, and full of personality—this is not your typical cookie-cutter rental, and thank God for that. Let’s talk about the kitchen for a second… because yes, that stove is the real deal. Straight out of the ‘50s. It took a minute (and a little help) to figure out, but once we got it going? Honestly, one of the coolest parts of the stay. Cooking felt like an event, not a chore. The entire home has that same vibe—authentic, stylish, and just plain fun to be in. You don’t just stay here… you live here for a bit. And the host? Top-notch. Responsive, helpful, and genuinely great to work with. That kind of attention makes all the difference. Bottom line: if you want something unique, memorable, and way more interesting than the usual beige box rental… this is your spot. If I’m back in Memphis, especially for a longer stay, I’m not even shopping around—I’m coming right back here.

Greetings to all! I'm a native Memphian and love this town. As a well seasoned traveler; I consider myself a tourist more so than a vacationer. I enjoy travel to get away from the daily routine. But much more, I travel to experience differences in culture, geography, people, art and the things that make anyplace unique and special in its own right. I have visited 49 US States, seven Canadian Provinces, four Mexican States, four European Countries, three Asian countries, Austalia and New Zealand so far. My ultimate bucket list goal is to have visited all 50 states, the 10 official Canadian provinces and all 7 continents. I very much respect the rights of others and expect respect in return. I wish "All The Best!" for everyone.

The Evergreen/Vollintine/Rhodes View district is quite the gem of a neighborhood in the city of Memphis. It boasts some of the best vintage homes this city has to offer, and maintains the charm of it's past history.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

It was love at first site when I came across this property. It feature a large front porch sitting area viewing out towards a small neighborhood park and the lovely campus of Rhodes College. There is a large rear yard with Koi Pond, Greenhouse, large deck and more out back. Close by is one ot Memphis's best walking/biking Greenline trails.

The inside features high cellings, barn sliding doors and real wood floor througout. The Youngstown Kitchen features a working vintage Tappan stove with nearby stainless counter perfect for small gatherings.
