Percorri una strada di campagna in un rifugio rurale circondato da scogliere rosse, cactus e un ranch in mattoni sconclusionato con una "casita". C'è un ampio parcheggio e un ingresso privato per la casa degli ospiti. All'interno, entrerai in alloggi appena ristrutturati con colori tenui e neutri che fanno risaltare le antiche scogliere Vermillion in ogni finestra. Mozzafiato.

La nostra casa per gli ospiti non è solo ben arredata, ma arredata con cura con nuovi pavimenti in piastrelle di ceramica e sistema di aria condizionata / riscaldamento. Ci sono due camere da letto, ognuna con un letto queen-size lussuosamente arredato e un armadio. Il bagno completo dispone di nuovi impianti idraulici, vanità e vasca / doccia. Il soggiorno e la sala da pranzo sono caratterizzati da ampie finestre, che lasciano entrare una bella luce e una vista completa delle scogliere Vermillion. La zona pranzo comprende un tavolo da pranzo con 4 posti a sedere. Appena fuori dal soggiorno c'è una cucina completamente nuova, completamente arredata, pronta per preparare un vero pasto del sud-ovest. Situata all'interno del Grand Circle of Zion, Bryce e del Grand Canyon National Parks, questa struttura si trova a soli 3 km dal centro di Kanab. Con ingresso indipendente, la struttura è adiacente ai principali alloggi del proprietario. L'intera casa è situata su 5 acri privati, con ampie vedute delle scogliere rosse di Vermilion e della città di Kanab. Goditi la serenità del nostro amato mini ranch, sede dei nostri due asini e cavalli in miniatura.

July 4th retreat in mountains

We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immaculate. We enjoyed the animals. The space is so clean and comfortable. It’s also a beautiful property at the base of the mountains. Stayed for 4 nights, but we could have stayed longer at this location. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful.

Wonderful!

We enjoyed this little casita very much! Very cute, cozy and comfortable. Mike and Jody are lovely people and made sure we knew they were available for anything that we may need. They gave us very good advice as they are very knowledgeable about the area. It really helped us make the most of our time spent there. Highly recommend. Hope to visit again someday!!

Best Place To Stay In Kanab

This place is fantastic, better than it shows in the pictures. Location is absolutely beautiful and quiet. Host are the nicest people. Would definitely recommend staying here. Five plus stars!

Quite cozy place!

We loved this property and location. It was a bit cozy for 4 adults and only 1 bathroom but we made it work. The place is beautiful, newly remolded and very well appointed.

Thanksgiving with Family

We rented the whole house to spend Thanksgiving with our grown children and grandchildren. The home is lovely! There is plenty of open living space for family to gather for board games, football on tv, and family dinners. The fenced front yard is a real bonus for a family with little ones who want to play outside. The master bedroom is absolutely perfect, as is the in-law suite. We could put the children to bed in the in-law suite bedrooms and not disturb them while visiting in the main living area. The kitchen space is open which makes cooking together fairly easy and comfortable. We had a very relaxing four day weekend, and our children were sad to leave. The owners are very pleasant and responsive. All-in-all, we will happily return!

Perfect in Every Way

My family of 4 and my parents stayed here for a week and loved everything about the house and the area. "Ditto" to the previous review which comments on the many nice touches that the owners of this house provide. We did not use the in law suite but still had plenty of room. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished and thoughtfully stocked with useful supplies. A notebook with information about the house and Kanab was helpful as were a variety of books about the national parks in the area. We had worried a bit about the heat in August, but we really enjoyed sitting on the deck taking in the beautiful views and fresh air. The area around the house is nicely landscaped with a pretty green lawn in front. It was a particular treat to see an occasional jack rabbit. As others have noted, the owners could not have been nicer throughout the rental process and our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone but suspect it will hard to get as more people discover it. Regarding the area, you can drive in any direction to reach one of the many national parks surrounding Kanab. We were particularly taken aback by the beauty of Zion national park. It's a definite must see if you are in the area. The highlight of our trip, however, was our time spent volunteering at Best Friends. The sanctuary itself is gorgeous, and the tour is fascinating. If at all possible, consider allowing time to volunteer during your stay. It is an enjoyable and extraordinarily rewarding experience. We look forward to returning.

Wonderful stay

We couldn’t have been happier with our visit to Kanab. The location was perfectly situated - close to town, Zion, and most importantly, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The hosts were wonderful and we had everything we needed to make it a great trip. We’re already trying to figure out when we can come back.

Great place!

We had a great time in Kanab. The casita was perfect. This location was great. We were about 30 minutes from Zion and a little over an hour from antelope slot canyon and Horse Bend in Page Arizona. The hosts were so friendly and the casita was a great home base.

Peaceful retreat close to town

We really enjoyed our stay - it's in a peaceful, beautiful area, while still close to town. The casita was darling, clean, comfy beds, had everything we needed. The bonus of seeing the cute donkeys was fun. Thank you!

First time visiting the Kanab area.

The casita has everything you need. It is clean and the beds are very comfortable. We had enough room for our truck and trailer, and used our trailer for a garage for our trike. Since we had never been to this area before, we felt an extra security with Jody and Mike being there. They both greeted us and gave us tips on places to see. They are such nice people. We loved the donkeys and the quiet setting of their house. We would stay here again when visiting the Kanab area.

Awesome Casita!!

Casita was amazing! Quiet, immaculate and very close to local grocery stores and restaurants. The Casita was very well stocked! Host Jody and Mike were very welcoming. This was just what my husband and I needed after visiting the national parks. We highly recommend this Casita and I have to mention the adorable donkeys that were such an added joy!

Great place to be!

We had a great time at Jody´s place. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed staying at the Casita. Kanab is a perfect spot to do all the spots around within a daytrip (Bryce, Zion, North Rim, Lake Powell ....). Thank you Jody for the very pleasant stay!

Great time in Utah

The home is very comfortable and welcoming. Got to meet the owner who was very nice. They are available if you need anything which is great. The home is located in middle of everything we wanted to see. I know if we were to come back to Utah we would stay here sgain.

Perfect Honeymoon Getaway

My husband and I chose to stay here for our long overdue honeymoon and it was perfect. The casita has so much personality and felt like a little home away from home. The location is perfectly, centrally located to all of the places we wanted to visit and the scenery is spectacular! Jody and Mike were ready with plenty of helpful suggestions and we loved meeting their four-legged family members, especially Maggie and the donkeys😁 We hope to return again!

Great location for NP day trips

Lovely property. Clean and well kept. Great location for day trips to Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon. Town of Kanab had some really good restaurants and cute shops. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Jody and Mike for your hospitality!

Quiet oasis

We loved staying here for three week we wanted to see all 3 parks. Jody greeted us right away and let us know if we needed anything don't be afraid to ask... we didn't but it was nice knowing they were so close if so. We hope to stay here again in thre future . Highly recommend Donkey Tails Casita
