We enjoyed our time in Myrtle very much! Unfortunately only 1 elevator was working during our stay so the waiting was pretty bad. The building in general is fairly run down and needs a good cleaning and updates, but the unit itself is great! We didn’t use the pool as it was usually very very full with kids and families and usually no lounge chairs available. Beach was great! Parking was fine, once you realize that the main deck is pretty much impossible to find a spot in— easiest to park at deck across street at walk.

This property is nice but it has a few drawbacks:• Initially, there was an old musty smell throughout the unit, but it went away after the first night’s stay. • There needs to be a separate area for hanging your clothes. The “open closet” is in the kitchen right where the trash can, vacuum cleaner, and broom & dustpan are stored. Needless to say, I kept my clothes in my suitcase. • The microwave has a strong food odor that didn’t go away after I tried cleaning it out. The smell becomes more pungent after the microwave is used. • While the parking garage is conveniently attached to the hotel allowing you to park on the same level as the unit, the amount of parking available is grossly insufficient.• The California King bed is large, but hard. A much softer pad is needed. It felt like sleeping on the floor.• The main entrance (outside door) is extremely unbecoming (dirty, peeling paint) making for a poor first impression.

Weekend getaway

The condo was very nice. Would appreciate cable tv or instruction to view local news and weather. There should be handrails on the beach access steps.

Heck in was confusing I was sent a check in link but my room number was very difficult to find I had to go into chats with host to find it but my key code for the room was on the check in form, the room number should have been there too. It was very confusing. Otherwise very peaceful stay. Was also confused on the tote bag, cozies , parking pass, and pool bands. They were all left on the table in the room but wasn’t sure what I was allowed to keep, because at checkout I was told to return my parking pass and pool bands, but it also said all items so wasn’t sure exactly what wouldn’t get me fined.
