Rockport is such a wonderful NE seaside town We’d never been and loved being walking distance to the water and shops, and a short drive from Halibut Park. Anki and Jon were wonderful hosts. The house is very clean, convenient, charming, and more than met needs It was perfect for a long relaxing weekend away. We would absolutely love to stay again!

We loved the house! The air conditioning worked well, although it wasn't needed very much since the weather was fabulous in September. Everything was very neat and clean. The location was a short easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed. The flowers around the cottage were beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The cottage was adorable! Light, bright and comfortable. The location was great, very walkable to town. The deck in back and outdoor chairs in front added to the charm. The host was very responsive! Entry and departure were easy as well. As the post notes, the stairs to the bedrooms are steep. Also, the king bedroom is very bright in the morning. If this bothers you, you might want to bring an eye mask. Just something to be aware of. The windows definitely add to the charm. The downstairs bedroom is private and that worked well for our group. Kitchen well stocked and we didn’t need for anything upon arrival. The driveway is shared w a neighbor and since it is sloped and we had a minivan, we inadvertently encroached on their parking space. They left a note. As someone who lives in a condo building w a short term rental, we try to be extra respectful so we felt horrible about the inconvenience. Maybe they should mark the spots?? The house does have a couple neighbors close by so it’s important to be mindful of that as well. Some of our family members stayed at a different rental very close by and we liked our place better :) We would definitely recommend the house and strongly consider a return visit. Thank you for the hospitality!!

We had a fantastic week-long stay in Rockport at this VRBO. We were two grandparents, two parents and a 2 1/2 yr old grandson. The location was ideal; it was an easy walk to Front/Back Beaches, Brothers Brew for doughnuts, Bear Skin Neck for shopping and Milbrook Park for toddler exercise. The location encouraged a morning walk along the waterfront of Rockport's south side. Equally important, the house was perfect for our multi-generation configuration. The house was well-equipped from kitchen/cooking essentials to bathroom amenities. The AC worked well -- even when the temperature hit 100 degrees. Ann and Jon were great hosts; easy to communicate with and responsive to our questions (they even brought over extra toddler toys). Honestly a 5 star stay in a 5 star location with great VRBO hosts. Hope to repeat this in the future.
