Our house was absolutely amazing! 5 Star Plenty of room for 14 adults and 4 kids with Kayaks and outdoor decks and fire pit looking over the creek. Two reasons for 4 star vs 5 is communication before our trip was slow or non responsive and Red Barn needs to know the properties they are renting. I asked about games for kids and adults and they said there were none so we brought but they had both. We also inquired before booking if any tubs which they said no but I clearly saw in pics after looking more. Also the driveway to get to house is very steep and deck railing in back didn’t go all the way across just to be aware of with young kids. Red Barn communication was great once we arrived. Our first trip to Deep Creek and loved it!

The house is beautiful with a well equipped in the kitchen. Our family 16 had a great time with plenty of space. The kids loved the downstairs pool table, large table for puzzles, and foosball table. We sat outside on the back porch a lot, they had enough seating for everyone and more. The fire pit was great too!!A few things that need help are communication with the host. They are non-responsive and send automated text and are very late on (if any) response to questions we had. The walk down to the water its not easy for anyone. We have parents that are in their mid 70's in good shape, and it was rough. There are some steps but the rest is dirt and debris on a very steep hill to get to the shared dock. The floors were not clean. We all had to wash our feet before we went to bed because our feet were black from the floors from the first day. The driveway is extremely steep with a few spots at the bottom. So parking for a large family was difficult. There are spots at the top for 2 trailers. Bring extra toilet paper, towel (bath and beach), and don't forget a blowdryer - there are non at the house.
