It was a very nice cabin but we were right next door to the owners house. We had no privacy and watch them hang out their laundry and they were watching over us the whole time. Even driving past the back of the place in his truck. We went up there for a getaway not to be watched over. If you ever go there it's pretty nice I do not get the first one by the owner's house

Paula, and her husband were great, we were in cabin 6 for 3 days. Loved the location, privacy and ammenenties at the cabin.We will be back. Hot tub is a bonus, and being close to everything while having our own private cabin was great.

The cabin is very nice, fairly private-meaning a fair distance from other cabins- nice tree cover. Parking is close that makes loading and loading of personal items easy yet it’s not taking up space for gathering. Everyone is friendly and respectful of privacy. Be sure you actually read all the information… you need to bring your own towels and other bathroom supplies.

It was a nice weekend getaway. I was afraid of getting another charge for using the hot tub after reading other peoples reviews, but we followed the instructions and everything turned out fine. If I was to book again I would stay for at least a full week and book direct, using a third party almost doubled the cost.

Everything about our trip was incredible. The cabin and capgrounds were great. Owners were very helpful and kind and the location was great..... not too far away from all the attractions of the area. Perfectgetaway

The Canin was very nice and cozy. Very clean. The hot tub was excellent. The location was very good. We couldn’t home the trails bc it was bear season, so we wished we knew about that before paying for our trip. We missed out on hiking, what is mostly what we went for. Other than that, it was pretty nice.

Last Minute Getaway

Perfect cabin and location with the kindest hosts. The cabin gives you that “far away from home” kinda feel. Decorated so cute and stocked with everything I needed. When checking in with Paula (host), she highlighted my hiking map and I went away with more knowledge of the surrounding areas. I can honestly say that there is an unlimited amount of nature activities around this location. I hiked many trails and each new trail was more breathtaking than the one before. My stay at cabin 6 was quiet & relaxing. I built fires both outside and inside of the cabin. Was just so peaceful for me to sit and stare at the flames. Andy (host) had bundles of wood stacked for purchase right on the cabin porch, which was so convenient. I really appreciated this. The bed was so comfortable and I slept very well here. The hosts have a store on this location which is convenient, if you forgot to pack and or need/want something. It’s also full of locally hand made items for sale. I definitely had to buy a souvenir here from a local artist. I enjoyed every minute of my last minute getaway here and it definitely did not disappoint. I look forward to staying here again someday. This log-sided cabin sleeps up to four guests and features a private hot tub, one bedroom with a queen sassafras log bed, and a living room with a log futon and corner stone fireplace. Enjoy a full kitchen, free Wi-Fi, DirecTV HD, and a cathedral ceiling, along with a large patio, outdoor campfire area, and hardwood flooring throughout.

*The Full Kitchens in each cabin include a Coffee Pot and Filters, Pots and Pans, Dishes and Utensils, Dish Soap, Hand Soap, and Dish Towels.
*The Indoor Bathrooms are equipped with Toilet Paper, Hand Soap, and Bath Mats.
*The Bedrooms in each cabin have all-new mattresses and beds with bedding, pillows, and blankets.
*Every cabin features a Wood Burning Fireplace, a small stack of firewood for $5 a bundle, an outdoor fire ring, and a charcoal grill. You will need to provide the charcoal.
We provide Free Wi-Fi and Direct TV in all cabins, but we cannot guarantee the availability of these amenities.
*Air Conditioning is available for $25 per day.
*Most amenities are included, and all you need to bring are your towels and toiletries
