The property and the house was amazing. Beautiful views with abundant wildlife. However the driveway needs to be bush hogged and graded.

The property is beautiful and we had a blast. Amenities are first class.. It’s fun for the entire family.

Beautiful serene location

This house was incredibly cute and well maintained. Beautiful location on the bay with a nice beach spot for lounging. We enjoyed the screened in back porch and used the outdoor grill to cook several meals. Loved it!

Beckoning - Thanksgiving

Have stayed at Beckoning, I believe, 5-6 times for Thanksgiving, and the house is great. Two suggestions: I do not believe direct tv is in the living room for cable, but is in the 3 bedrooms. I would recommend adding direct tv to the living room. Finally, it would be great if the couch and loveseats were replaced with more comfortable seating. Otherwise, would not change a thing.

Wonderful House and Beach

Loved the privacy of this property! Had a small hiccup trying to get into the house at check-in, but the property managers were very quick to help and solve our issues! We loved that bedroom windows had shutters also and not only curtains. We enjoyed reading the guest book to see where previous guests recommended The stairs to the back yard were a little steep for The beach was incredible. So much privacy. The water was calmer than the gulf, but still had waves that kids could enjoy. The water never seemed to get deep which was a huge plus for us as parents. children, so be prepared to carry little ones.

This is a beautiful vacation rental . There was a lot of sand on the floors in the living room and master bedroom upon our arrival . Thank goodness I brought a stick vacuum. I’ve rented beach properties before and I know how hard it can be to get all the sand up . Overall this is a great place and the location is spectacular. There are a few negatives that could be changed easily . All bed pillows ( except bunk room ) need to be thrown out and replaced . We had to go purchase pillows because they were that bad . The queen bed mattress needs to be replaced, it’s just a crater on both sides . My 33 year old son never complaines but he did about this bed . Both bathrooms only had one hand towel . We had 4 adults with myself and the hubby and both our adult sons . Had to buy hand towels when we purchased new pillows at Walmart . The only cutting board is the cheapest one you can buy at dollar general . Thank goodness I brought my own . The purpose of this rental was for my family to celebrate the 100 th birthday of my mother in law . I cooked many meals here . I purchased some new kitchen utensils since they were lacking . The sink on the left leaks underneath. I’m glad I brought my own dawn because there was literally 1/4 inch left in the tiny starter . The door knobs are very loud and squeaky. The living room couch and loveseat fit the coastal vibe but they are so cheap and uncomfortable. I think this house deserves better ! Landscaping needs some love ! Driveway is overgrown!
