The Perfect Stay

This property is so clean and so well-maintained. Great location situated in a quiet area. Easily accessible to great walks. The hosts were very responsive and gave great recommendations for local restaurants. Would stay here again.

Excellent stay at Windsurfer, South Swell cabin!

Our mini-vacation stay at the Windsurfer cabin at South Swell was excellent. The unit is exactly as described, well stocked, super clean, bed and linens are super comfortable. Professional, timely and friendly communication with staff through email, text and on site. And a beautiful location, close to town, trails and the beautiful beach and cove. Lovely stay.

Hello, it was very comfortable. Two things you need a new coffee pot, and it took 45 min for a pot of coffee. Also, the smoke detector upstairs would go off every single time you opened the oven. It was a little much but we got through it. Thank you for everything. It was really nice to stay there.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about your coffee struggles! It definitely sounds like something might have been clogged, we’ve never had a coffee maker take 45 minutes before. I didn’t even realize they made machines like that! Definitely not ideal, especially since coffee is a must within the first 20 minutes of waking up — LOL. Thanks again for your review!

We had such a wonderful stay at SS#9 - Windsurfer! The space is exactly as pictured—immaculately clean, thoughtfully laid out, and full of functional touches that make it perfect for a longer visit. There's tons of storage throughout, which we really appreciated, and it genuinely felt like home. It’s also incredibly kid-friendly. One of the beds in the bedroom can be leaned against the wall, which gave us peace of mind knowing it was safe for our little one to sleep without worry of rolling off. The entire place felt cozy, safe, and quiet—ideal for families. The heater warms up the space quickly, and the locally made shampoo, lotion, and hand wash were such a lovely touch. One of the highlights was the exclusive access to the lake and forest trail right out back—super peaceful and perfect for morning walks or quiet exploration. This was our first time in Ucluelet and we spent a week exploring the beautiful rainforests and beaches of Tofino and Ucluelet. We are glad we chose South Swell cabins, our checkin was smooth, the cabin was nicely equipped and very clean. This property is right beside the ocean and backs on to many beautiful trails. Some nice perks include a sauna and a private kayak launch. Our host Danielle made some great suggestions about local fare and activities that were appreciated. We will definitely return and stay here again.
